Loved the place.  Loved the excitement.  Love the romance.  Love the memories.
... But it really was time to move out.  It was way past its best.
PPS may be (Is!) soulless, but it is safe, comfortable, and practical for modern day football, and the families that now attend.
Sad, but the right move!

I’m with @Chester40 on this one. I haven’t posted in weeks basically because it’s all been done to death but everyday I see people have added more comments to the same old threads. So I can’t help but look to see if it’s anything new and of course it’s just another rehash of a previously done to death issue or a pun fest (which is worse).
I’m not having a pop at our dedicated posters but I just wish something would happen to get us out of this tedium.

The energy of many to still post, scrutunise, examine and predict on some topic threads makes me very proud...cos I am totally and utterly bored to death of several!!
I'd almost quite happily take a 12 point deduction to never have to discuss amortisation again!
I have already just accepted we will keep Rooney as manager, even though he has a recent record that is second to none.. Of terrible performances. 
Three failed takeovers later and I can no longer bear to hear speculation on which supposed billionaire Americans are going to kick tyres and then move on. 
Or what about the transfer speculation to get you through the summer!? When we have the worst recruitment team ever, we have no cash and are under transfer embargo!! 
What's more pointless and annoying? EFL charges, Rooney in/out, Next takeover or transfer speculation.. Have I missed anything??

Christ how far have we fell when we want a 31 year old back on the wing , jesus he wasnt even a proper winger , we just shoved him there , was actually a striker . But he was just workmanlike at best , he is now 31 blimey come on wake up .

It's all if's and but's. If my sister had a dick then she would be my brother. The final league positions have us as more points than the bottom 3. Saying it's because they cheated makes no difference, I could argue they should have been given the full 12 points originally deducted. Or if it's purely footballing reasons, IF we hadn't lost Beilik, IF we hadn't lost Davies, IF we hadn't lost Gregory after Rooney had a plan of using him and waggy as a front 2, IF CKR wasn't playing the last 6-7 games injured we would have been fine.
We can all point to why we stayed up, some choose to point it at Rooney (me too after the Preston game), some choose to point it at Mel, some choose to point it towards having crippling injuries to our better players.
You are entitled to lay the blame wherever you wish, as do I, and having had time to now look back, MY finger points to the off field chaos & crippling injuries.
That's my opinion & i'll Support Rooney going into next season if he gets his own players in. If after 10 or so games we're doing badly, then I'll be probably wanting a new Manager in.

Tbh, it's those who are adamant they don't want Rooney who are barking the loudest that it was only because of Cardiff. We could argue if Rooney hadn't scored that fk in the 88th min against Norwich, we would have been relegated & bottom of the league.
Oh how we mocked forest last season for missing out on the playoffs in the final minutes of their last game of the season and crowed how it was Martins last min equalizer against them that caused it.
Can't have it both ways.
Yes we have been terrible this season but the final table doesn't lie and we stayed up by the skin of our teeth.
Hopefully, next season will be better ?

The club have done everything they said they would. They have made statements on all topics and then said there would be no more comment until there is something to say. They have been consistent in this.
The vast majority of the concerns highlighted in the letter are fuelled by media speculation and in my opinion the club should not start commenting on media speculation because when does it stop. No business operates that way.
When the club know something we will.
