Servco FC, you may know them a Glasgow Rangers are a club that started in the 4th league of the Scottish pyramid after the old club Glasgow Rangers went into liquidation in 2012. Most people believed they would win back to back to back promations but that didn't happen. Also as far as Im concerned a phoenix club is in no way the original club hence the phoenix club has no history and no trophies to its name.

Just look at Heart of Midlothian FC in 2013 they went into administration got deducted points, which sent them down. Not only relegated the club nearly lost the stadium. However a fan lead ownership group was formed they saved the club, the stadium and got promotion the next year.
In 2020 when COVID hit the Scottish season got suspended and didn't complete, despite Hearts having a game in hand and on a very good run they got relegated (totally unfairly) again.
There response was to romp to promotion and now back in the Scottish premier league they sit a comfortable third and are looking forward to some European games next season.
So even administration and relegation is by far not the end of things.

As a side note when Hearts got deducted points and were sure to be relegated, city rivals Hibernian FC held a relegation party in the away end of Tynecastle (Hearts stadium) to celebrate Hearts relegation. The Hibs fans had inflatable palm trees, Hawaiian shirts, party hats the full works.
Sadly for Hibernian they lost that game and ended the season by going 13 games without a win and got relegated themselves and stayed down for 3 years.
So for all the fans of other clubs who want Derby relegated or worse, be carefully for what you wish for, because Karma can be a bitch.

I had the privilege and the pleasure on Monday to meet up at Seven restaurant in Derby with some DCFC royalty.
I had been approached by a national newspaper (not the sun) sports reporter to ask if i could assist him in inviting some of the legends of the 1971/72 team, they are not just legends of Derby County but 1970s football in general, household names in the footballing world until this day and men of god for those who follow Derby County and forever revered in these parts.
What he wanted to do was to something that nobody else in the press seems bothered about and that is to bring the story of what those players did under the auspices and guidance of Brian Clough & Peter Taylor into the headlines and to freshen up and relive the story.
It has been such bad timing that the club is in such a mess that it can not honour these fine gentleman (another victim of the poor management of our club) so i was more than happy to get them together and sit in on what was a great three hours spent over lunch and a couple of drinks in a private room reliving not just that season but the seasons that followed.
its not for me to tell the stories as that honour falls to the reporter and in should be in print a little nearer the end of the season but needless to say there were some funny moments, some very honest and truthful moments and some sad moments.
Kevin was supposed to join us but had to pull out at the last minute but he was ably covered by the others, Messrs Mcfarland, Durban, Gemmill and O'Hare !
50 years ago they were Champions of England and will be forever Champions of Derby !

It isn’t a competition here to nominate the “vainest greediest chancer of an owner of the year award “… nominations Morris and Gibson.

but if it was… the Judges would bear in mind Morris didn’t try and sue QPR for their ffp  breaches that were way more serious than anything Derby are alleged to have done.
and also that Morris is, according to the admin team, helping them in Derby’s fight for existence. And Gibson plainly isn’t.

Cards on the table, I'm not from Derby or Derbyshire and I've never lived there. However my family did visit Derbyshire regularly for weekends away and as a kid I loved the trips to Derbyshire. Around 1971 at the age of about 4, I became aware of a football club called Derby County and it just so happened they were top of the league. So that was the team for me, a true glory hunter.
We did have a family friend who was a Rams fan and he took me to a few games in the 70's. Then in 1977 my family moved to Birmingham and with school friends I started watching WBA, local to me and they had possible one of the most entertaining teams ever (amazing to think that side never actually won anything) so for a while I flirted with becoming a Baggie.
Then in 1982-3 after the Forest FA cup game I knew Derby was the team for me?
I was now old enough to travel a little further on my own and had some earnings other than pocket money. By 1985 I was a season ticket holder at the BBG and went to many away games.
Spin forward to 2006-2007 I was 39 and for me live was changing you could say live really did start at 40. So after the Wembley win ironically against WBA I didn't renew my season ticket.
I kept going to PP and a few away games but over the years that became less and less, then crashgate happened and I said at the time I would never give Derby a penny again until the players involved had left the club and I stand by that today (other than fan lead fund raising i'm happy to contrubute to that)
Yes I wish Derby all the best and I could never support any other English team and the fact that I'm here on this forum shows I still love Derby.
However I have to go back to crashgate, from that moment I became a member of Foundation of Hearts. a Heart of Midlothian fan group. I followed Hearts from about the same time I became aware of Derby as a young kid I guess I just liked the name Hearts FC.
From the 80's onwards I would get to 2 or 3 Hearts games a season and now as a member of the Foundation of Hearts who recently took ownership of Heart of Midlothian FC, I see myself more of a Hearts fan then a Derby fan.
I love Derby(shire) and have so many great memories of the BBG and PP along with all the away games. And wish them so much love for the future and hope soon Derby will have it's club and its soul back.
However on Saturday at 12:30 Hearts FC were live on TV and I watched that game. I did record the Derby game with the intention to watch it later.
After the Hearts game ended I clicked across to the Derby game just in time to see a certain player score the penalty I watched the few minutes till the end of the game then hit stop recording followed by delete and got on with the rest of my day save in knowledge Hearts were in the next round of the cup.

In fact, by that logic, Leeds have a better case (especially as they could claim for horrific embarrassment). But they didn’t moan, they just pulled the wit socks up and smashed the league the following season. What did Boro do, they finished 17th.
evidence that they put all their eggs in that basket, with their own dodgy but legal finances (parachute payments) and as soon as they ran out, they couldn’t sustain their level of spending and performance.

I got on the next train home only to find out Derby won 3-2

I wish to claim back £2.25 the ticket price (with student rail card) but also £45 million from British Rail because the delay of that train meant i missed one of the greatest Derby come backs ever and that has haunted my mental state ever since.
And kids the message of this story is, never however desperate things are don't turn your back on your club.
