If we can find a decent New CF and the 2 lads from Brighton join then we'll arguably have a better 1st team (on paper) than we had last season... and that side would have easily stopped in the Championship with points added back on etc... I'm also getting excited!

Was a very promising prospect at Crewe as a teenager. Can't imagine him as being 'straight in' the first team... but still more of a chance of getting some action here than at Southampton.

I've just found out Clowes own some land near me so I've been and launched one of my dog's turds over the fence.

Can a ticket exchange thread be set up for the new season?
I want to put money into the club so will be buying 3 season tickets, 1 adult 2 children. 
However I have my kids alternate Saturdays so estimate we’d only get to about 15 games as a three, so would be happy to hand over the tickets to someone for the odd game if they agree to spend some money in the ground. 
We are on holiday for the opening day, gutted to be missing that especially if it’s a sell out.

I get what you're saying (and agree that I don't think DMcG will ever be a 15+ a season CF at this stage of his career), but we're not going to be signing any of those. We can now sign players, yes, but I don't think we'll be spending any fees for a while yet.
I've mentioned the names before in other threads, but John Marquis and Vadaine Oliver would be the freebies I'd be looking at. Either those or a youngster on loan (Dan Jebbison? Keinan Davis if F*rest don't want him back?).

Depends what kind of system we're looking to play... 2 up front then definitely! He holds the ball up well and would bring a lot of chances to a strike partner... As a lone striker, I think we need someone with a better strike rate.
