On a serious note, I wonder what the reaction would have been like if that was two young men taking inappropriate pictures in front of a woman who was asleep. The social media reaction would be quite different. Them girls knew who he was and sold the story to the paper. They might have been a couple of girls his mates were flirting with at the club and he wanted to just have a drink, relax and go home the following morning.

The double standards is awful. We need to start treating this sort of behaviour equally.

I mean, it got out on Snapchat and Twitter... the papers didn't have it first. Secondly, and feel free to correct me if this has happened to you, but I don't tend to have a drink and relax then end up sleeping in a hotel room chair.

I think everyone associated with Rooney would tell him to walk away from the job. He's gaining absolutely nothing from this and it's only going to get worse for him.

Anyone with a brain would've walked, I suppose that's half the issue.

Would do us a favour too. Could put the groundsman in charge and achieve the same results.

I notice they haven’t said eFootball 2022, it’s just eFootball so I’m guessing there will be minimal updates to the base game, just tweaks to players stats

Yeah, i imagine they'll plan to keep the base game for a few years before an overhaul, and just keep the content rolling until then - basically like fifa do, but without being underhand about it.

Doubt I’ll even bother downloading it tbh, be playing teams in clown skins that some kid paid a fiver for, on a pitch that looks like an ice rink and giant marshmallow for a football

Think they'll charge for additional teams, leagues and offline modes, as well as whatever naff version of ultimate team they go for.

    So PES really is dead

Unless there's some weird surprise in there, I guess they managed cross play with Fortnite from mobile, so it must be possible. Just yeah, hold your breath.

PES is dead, they’ve renamed it efootball and making it free to play, which means only one thing, get ready to pay for loot boxes with kits, players, teams in.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see FIFA follow suit.

Fifa won't follow suit because they already rake in billions in microtransactions, whilst still mugging you for a full price game.

On the face of it, I was quite interested in this going f2p but then I realised they've basically taken a 2 year break to upscale a mobile engine so cross play can go from PS5 all the way through to Apple App Store versions of the game... that sounds awful.

Isn't he out of contract at the end of this season?

Yes. I’ve always wanted to see more of him in the first team but giving our striking options, the fact he still only gets injury time at most probably says a lot.

That looks like a rehash of old news ? I do t do Twitter o maybe I don’t get it but there’s nothing about retirement that I can see. It all seems to relate to the Oxford move ?

it links to an instragram video which he's titled about moving onto the next chapter (of his life... without football)

    What position was he playing?

Right back, pretty much. But being down to 10 he was given a bit of licence to get up, rotating with Baldock. Don’t think he got quite as far up again after scoring straight after coming on.

I thought it was trying too hard to be the new Breaking Bad, but the characters just weren't likable enough. I quit after 4 episodes because I just didn't care what happened to them.

    Horses for courses I guess.

    You quit too early.

    For what it’s worth:

    1. The Wire

    2. Sopranos

    3. Better Call Saul

Haven’t see Ozark recommended on here, but I don’t have a great attention span. 3 x 10 episode series on Netflix, about a guy sucked into the world of cartel crime. Pretty good I would say, without ever hitting great heights. Some good acting. A fourth (and final) series is in production for those who prefer to watch everything from start to finish.

If the final series is as good as the other three it will probably slot into my top 3 shows of all time.

Bots to inflate the numbers. Why give away a popular game? Makes no sense.

It’s been out for ages, was given away to the majority of PS4 players with PS Plus years ago. Makes complete sense to switch to a F2P model to capture all those that haven’t played thus far and get them spending on the endless customisation instead.

Can't remember tbh its been a while.  I do recall starting from the back though and signing a GK and DC - existing players Lowe, Buchanan, Bogle and Clarke were awesome all season ?

Signed this guy from Vfl Bochum called Armel Bella-Kotchap and he's an absolute beast of a centre back. Going strong in the Premier League now too.

Its very easy to get Derby promoted imo.

Good squad and 10m transfer funds, 12m if you say you'll finish top half.  Good Luck!

Yeah, it is. Did it first time signing a young striker called Youan from France who was an absolute goal machine.
