clarke Harris I would take   £1.5-2m ideally  tops score the goals get us out the league. It has to be a 50/50 split with our signings long term sustainability and short term rewards for promotion. 

That’s more money than we will spend in total. And especially for a 29 year old with limited ability to step up a division.

Would be surprised if they wouldn't be willing to sell. He's now 30, they seem to have a bit of money to spend too. Could just be a lazy Warne and former Rotherham player link.

I like the idea of this. No idea if he's good, but seems to have somewhat of a pedigree and it's the type of signing which could provide decent profit in the future if it works out. Not to mention it helping out in the attacking and age department.

Saw him a pre-season friendly when he was playing for Boston. Still looked good.

Robinson. I had nothing better to do so quickly checked the clips of training they've put out on Twitter and you can tell it's him with the same boots etc

I see your thinking, but in general, the players you get training with you (aka on trial) don't tend to be highly sought after. They tend to be kids released out of academies or olduns without many takers. 

Would love to give Brown an extended look pre-season. May as well with the squad as it is right now. 

The Washington one is still odd when you compare it to what his current manager says, and he won’t be fit for a while after an operation. 

Would find it hard to believe he’s at a stage where he would accept trials. He won’t be that desperate for contract offers.

I think if we haven’t signed anybody else by Friday then it’s not cause for concern but it would be a tad disappointing.

The caveat has always been that it’s substantial for this league. But that doesn’t really mean a lot. £500k is a lot for this league when it comes to a whole summers worth of business. 

I agree though, would like some this week ahead of the Spain camp. Not the end of the world, but would seem like an opportunity missed to go there without a strike force.
