This is a bit naff because it doesn’t outline position flexibility. Forsyth or Sibley for LWB, Washington for AM, Rooney for RWB etc. it’s far too rigid.

Are there any rumours left now that Bradley & Washington have signed? Seems like all we have left is suggestions. We await Big Trav’s next words with anticipation…
BT had heard something about us talking to a local non-league player. His guesswork was Dobra or Dallas.

Let him post what he wants. For some people forums, twitter, podcasts are oxygen.... for others they are cyanide.
He is entitled to his opinion on all things dcfc, like we all are. Doent mean anyone has to agree with it
Don’t think people are against differing opinions, but people are against people spouting opinions without any actual factual reasoning and definitely moving the goalposts to suit an agenda. Anyone who does that should be called out.

Versatile foward who will add much needed fire power up top. Interesting to see what the 'undisclosed' agreement is.
We pay something if we go up. Don’t know how much. Dom Dietrich confirmed it.

I agree, not overly convinced with Fozzy & Rooneybas backups, would still like us to bring someone in like Flint
Don’t want Flint. The ideal would be someone like Harding who can cover multiple positions. Although can’t imagine him accepting a squad role from starting in the championship. Fozzy is absolutely fine as cover too in this league.

A cover WB, a number 10, and another striker and I think we're probably just about there.
I'd also like to see a bit of youth come in now personally.
Said it in another thread but I think you’re not far off. We need some signings now in the 22-27 range. Hopefully a couple of permanents. Then add the cherry on top with a loan or two for either cover or attributes (like place or flair) which usually costs a lot.

Just got to keep this defence fit. It looks very good on paper, just wafer thin as far as depth goes.

One of Ladapo , Smith , Hogan + loan u23 would be good
We need a permanent of a decent age now. Smith or Nombe probably the most obvious options, but could be someone we haven’t heard yet.
Then try and get some flair in on loan, as that’s the type of player which costs a bit more than we likely have.

Him in the middle of the back three, Nelson’s athleticism on the right, Cashin’s grit and determination (plus those diagonals) on the left, not too shabby.
Gonna be singing 1-0 to the Derby boys a lot this season if these forwards don’t turn up 😂

Unusual not to be at Moor Farm for the pictures.

Washington, as well as an option for no.9, is also versatile enough to play in a support role too.
If we knew if was to be a 3-4-2-1 with NML, Sibley, Washington, Barkhuizen, Collins + A.N.Other (Nombe 🤞) then we might not be quite as impotent as some may be fearing, even if it's getting a little "twitchy" at this stage.
Nombe or Sam Smith would be good. If not them, Ladapo would work but may not be feasible. If none of them, it may have to be someone we’ve not heard from yet.
Tenuous guesswork from Trav about Andy Dallas would be interesting as an option.

edit: more importantly, whos alice briggs 😍
Can’t take credit for being the sleuth. It was @JohnoDCFCfrom the rumours thread.

Oh for him to be given his first full season in a no.10 role.
If we do play with two narrowish attacking midfielders behind a striker, he would be made for that.

I think some people have seen that Collins interview. Put 2 + 2 together and come up with Sonny Bradley
I wasn’t convinced we were ever after him, but I have to say, seeing the fact that Callum Elder has followed multiple players and club staff, and then randomly Sonny Bradley and no one else not connected with the club recently has kinda changed my mind.

Don’t think you’ll need your coat. Still be 25 degrees even if it’s raining.

Not confirmed as Washington btw, I’m just assuming it’s Washington as I was told he was ‘close’
Would genuinely be more intrigued by your semi-educated guess of Andy Dallas

No, hardly the same, but the above has nothing to do with the point you were originally making.
You literally said if we wanted Alfie May he would have come. You really have no idea that is true. Like David McGoldrick, it seems Alfie, has personal and family reasons to want to move to a club other than the mighty Derby County.

Spending a fee on an injured striker? Seems a strange one
Does seem odd, although they could give him away for free a la Collins.

Good footballers are good footballers they can adjust unless of course that we won’t have good footballers
Just not true though is it. What's the point in having Messi if you're pumping long balls over his head? Extreme example, but it's essentially what we're talking about. If you want a player with pace to run in behind, there's no use signing someone who can't run.

Insane pricing. Even cheaper games are really expensive.
