I just don’t see Curtis going somewhere for one years pay cheque. He has a young family, loves this club, is valued by the hierarchy. There will be a place for Curtis in some role here that has more longevity than a 12/18 month stint at a plastic football club in roundabout city. 

As we know they had laid on taxis to get the players home. Some including the senior pro and captain declined to use them.

Semantics mate ?‍♂️  His legs were gone before he even joined us, but he kept a yard or two in his head and has very seldom let us down, whilst on occasions, playing through the pain barrier against his better interest. Just don't see the need for folk to be getting on his back when he's had no game time to speak of, we've not conceded and after a shaky opening 20, he's played well enough. Any player would struggle in those circumstances IMHO, nothing 'shocking' about it. As a multiple POTY, romantic old fools like me think he's earned some latitude and respect. Clearly not all agree.

I still for the life of me can't understand what is supposed to make the hundred better than t20 anyway.

Hopefully for the men’s game the Hundred will wither and die. I think it’s fine for bringing on the women’s game though as they don’t ( as far as I know ) have existing clubs to destroy like the mens game

Forever a club legend in my eyes for his selfless act in playing that last game of the season,despite the threat of aggravating an injury,and signing a disclaimer on the Club's behalf.I wish him the very best in whatever he chooses to do in the future.He must have been a big help to Rooney and Rosenior,then an inspiration for the younger players that came through.

Yes, it's very close. The 'Battle of the Baseball Ground' still sticks in my craw, when Armfield sent the Leeds scum out to kick us off the pitch, 4 days before the second leg against Real Madrid, because he was terrified that we would win the European Cup before them (they lost in the final the previous year to Bayern Munich).
Over the last 50 years, my hatred for both clubs has festered. Forest don't even come close.

Was at the game today with Seth Johnson. My dad went posh for the day and got me the book. Can’t wait to read it ? 

Disappointing to read some fans' comments about Curtis. He's always needed games off the back of an injury and the need to find someone to criticise every game, no matter how good the performance as a team, is wearing thin. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course, but there are players who have earned the right to avoid pointless, over the top pelters. Curtis is definitely one of them IMO.
