Didn't deserve to lose that. We controlled the second half until they broke through White and got a spawny goal. Then their tales are up and the ref falls for a dive. White shouldn't have had his leg dangling, but still, it's NEVER a penalty. I was worried at halftime that at times the pressing in midfield left the back 4 overly isolated. White cannot play that role and should only play as a playmaker in a midfield 3 i.e., the hourihane role. Not only did the first goal come from White getting done too easily, Roberts just didn't track back quick enough meaning the defence got too narrow leading to the space on that side.
I must admit my patience has snapped with these officials. When that penalty was given I almost accidentally threw the remote through the tv and I still can't understand how it was given. It feels like every week they fu** up to a game-changing degree now and has cost us 4 points this week really. I think the club should look into making a formal complaint to the league (as forest has done over var decisions) because it's getting borderline ridiculous at this point.

On a final note, I don't fancy Plymouth for autos. I think they'll lose at Barnsley and be overhauled by them or Ipswich. They weren't that impressive tonight and didn't look as good as Barnsley the other week. Hope just for that shocking dive they stay down.

I mean, it depends on the drag act. I've been to a few drag shows, and it does vary quite widely. I hope schools would obviously be sensible in who they approach to perform, i.e., do their homework and make sure the performer is made aware of what is acceptable or not, if that's something they want to introduce as an activity to the school.

Textbook 'nothing to see here folks' reply this
To recap - I've provided a summary of Warne's record against sides in both halves of the table to get some detail behind the 4 losses in 25 games stat. This clearly shows the vast majority of his points are won against lower half teams & that this is flattering his record.
    In reply, you've;
Reacted with a laughing emoji to my post - after all, what kind of idiot uses logic & stats to back up his argument?!! Disingenuously missed the point about record v top half teams compared to bottom half teams. I did clearly mention in my post you might expect a better record against lesser sides. The point however is would you expect a team looking to finish top 6 to average less than 1 point a game against top half teams? That's relegation form but then you probably realised that awkward truth Suggested I might be 'starting to say that our head to head record against the top 6' will determine whether we make top 6. Which I didn't say & clearly didn't mean. Nice strawman though For the avoidance of doubt, if we get a result at Plymouth Tuesday night I will a) be delighted & b) it may start to make me question my impression of Warne & his managerial ability. This is how to use evidence to support a position - in direct contrast to your desperate attempts to obfuscate/belittle opinions that differ to yours because you backed Warne from Day 1 & now your ego is very much attached to that position.

I'm feeling so frustrated after that. First off, on Shrewsbury, I've not seen such an unlikeable team for quite a while. Absolute sh**houses with no football ability in their team. I'm amazed they've left with a point today, and it makes it even more disappointing that we couldn't bury them.

First half, we looked very comfortable, even if extremely slow and a little sloppy. If we were on it, we'd have been 3 or even 4 up. Didzy looked classy as ever, Dobbin was running them ragged and they looked unable to contain any player with a bit of pace. We moved the ball around and stretched the pitch and they barely got out of their half.
Second half, it comes from a Forsyth mistake and foul leading to a freekick. Still not sure how the ball crossed the line as both the wall and Wildsmith didn't do their jobs well. Wildsmith is starting to make a fair number of mistakes now, I can point to at least 6 over the past 4 games. We started hoofing the ball, losing it easily and looking susceptible as they had a bit of pressure but not creating much besides the odd set piece. The penalty is a mistake from Rooney and he'd had a couple of issues with his positioning before which this time caused the error to be made. Then the game descended into a stop start one and we didn't do enough to win the game.
The referee had an absolute shocker but that's been and gone. I'm not sure if it was a handball at the end or not, but I've rarely seen the north stand so animated. We miss chances going forward, Dobbin whilst quick and good on the ball cannot finish for toffee. We are overreliant on Didzy to get us the goals and perhaps need someone else tbh. Defensively, the cracks are showing. Cashin gets too tight to his man and Forsyth doesn't have the legs to cover. This inevitably creates problems for us when someone is a bit quicker or stronger than Cashin. We really struggled with the crosses today when they did come in and that is again an area we need to work on.

Currently, i can't see us getting promoted this season. We'll make the playoffs but there are just too many vulnerabilities lurking throughout the team.

at the train station me and my mate were stuck not too far away from some lads shouting all kinds of stuff and trying to start on the Barnsley fans walking past. It's just pathetic, absolutely embarrasses the club and helps intimidate younger and older fans around them. Some of them look familiar and have seen them over the years, others do look new but I'm not an away regular really so could be wrong. Absolutely shocking to hear of the assault, i hope the animals that did it are banned from any derby county games for the foreseeable future.

Also sad to hear about the issues surrounding the police. I found the police to be courteous and nice to deal with even if they kept us waiting for close to an hour at the station.

There needs to be a confidential hotline that people can report others to. I can understand why nobody would ever want to report on someone but at the same time, unless we place plain clothed police/DCFC Stewards and start identifying these idiots and banning them, it'll never stop.

I've found out this afternoon that my cousins son and her husband were attacked by fellow Derby fans at HT yesterday and had to witness her son walking through the concourse with his face covered in blood.
Most on here would have seen pictures of her son before,  he's the lad with the Yardie Rams flag who goes to most away games with his step dad.
Neither of these are violent people, so it would be nice to find out who did this and why?

Well that was quite shocking. The performance lacked conviction, solidity, and we were all over the place. On the first goal, at first, it looked offside but on the replays, it looks like Forsyth is playing the guy on. Regardless of that, the second, third and fourth goals were all unforgivable. They resulted from sloppy play, an unwillingness to track runners and terrible backline positioning. We lacked conviction in the final third and never really looked like getting back into it despite having the ball.
It's something Warne needs to sort out quickly. Cashin and Forsyth as a pairing do not work away from home when playing like this. Cashin gets too tight to his man and Forsyth doesn't have the legs to help him out when he is beaten. At home, this is less of an issue as teams are less adventurous, but away from home when teams want to get at us we look so vulnerable. The result is a line that is out of shape and a lb who is by nature a lw and thus does not cover. In essence, the defence is an absolute mess. The midfield needs to be quicker in the transition and the front line needs to make more runs and penetrate more in the final third.

Atm I'm not convinced that even if we make the playoffs would we win them. The away form is such that the home form may not be enough to carry us through. Safe to say I'm a frustrated ram tonight

I don't know enough about this specific example, but changing works of fiction from their cultural context without the consent of the author is a bad idea. The whole point of art, including literature, is that it exists in its own space and time, representing not just current issues but longer-standing questions. You start messing around with the characters and language, then pretty soon you've basically changed the work itself, rendering it not something from the author but an odd bastardised version instead. As Roald Dahl isn't alive to edit his works, they should really be left untouched. This is not like Dickens, who softened the anti-semitic features of fagin up in later editions of Oliver Twist following an angry complaint by one reader.
I see this kind of creep in political theory where some are wanting to edit out 'problematic' portions of texts. Of course, the people wanting to do this don't understand a) bad people can have good ideas and b) understanding why those portions exist is just as important as appreciating the good things from the work. Personally, I also don't buy the idea that suddenly writers like Roald Dahl will not be read unless they 'update' themselves. Literature classics remain in print and are read by people because of their timeless qualities that are generally immune to fashionable taste.
