I do want Posh to win midweek. But come next Saturday lunch it's all about us getting out of the traps fast and overwhelming Carlisle. Get in front and keep turning the screw.
    This isn't done yet.

The job Warne has done, since Stevenage away, has been exemplary.
You cannot play one touch 50 pass moves with league 1 players. Not feasible. If we blow it, and have to face up to another season down here, Warne is definitely the man to rebuild us and go again.
If we go up, he will have earnt the right to build a Championship squad and have a go at keeping us up, as per his original brief.
I know he's marmite, with his off-beat personality profile, but he's clearly an honest and genuine man and it's hard to see a nice guy cop for abuse.

A bit of quality from NML at one end, steel at the back from Cash and Nelson, a save from Wildsmith, a sprinkling if flair and a whole heap of graft.
    The season in a nutshell.

Congratulations to Paul Warne who has broken the club record for away wins. Considering our long history with some great teams, he can rightly be very proud of that brilliant achievement.

I therefore doff my bobble hat to sir Paul of Warne.

Just to put some facts in place here.
Derby have a pass accuracy of 75% on a good day. That means we have a less than even chance of stringing 3 passes together. To get ten the odds are about 1 in 20 attempts. We average 200 passes a game so once a game we may get 10 passes completed. The odds against 50 is 1 in 2million.
Even top teams say 90% accuracy will only achieve 10 passes about a third of the time.

Celebrate the return of the Rams after very nearly being killed by Steve Gibson, Rick Parry, Kieran Maguire and that arse from Wycombe,
Go on the pitch/don't go on the pitch, just stay in the ground and enjoy the day then retire to a pub crawl round town.
Merry Widows, Neptune, Metro Bar, Tiger Bar, White Horse, Noahs Ark, Jorrocks, Dolphin, Bess of Hardwick etc.
If someone would be so kind as to shovel me on the last train to Utch it would be greatly appreciated.
