Don’t share this perspective. First, the government realised that to support football clubs was to put tax payers’ money into the pockets of one of the highest paid groups of individuals in the county, professional footballers. And that to do that was politically (and morally) unacceptable. So it was never going to happen. 
 
As for the arts, from what I saw and heard, performing musicians and actors had as hard a time in covid as anyone, because their employment arrangements are often so flaky they fell between the cracks when it came to furlough etc 

Yep even kicking in the stands between Derby and coverty city fans. 
Before the game Derby fans being kicked out and 100 police came rushing in the stands one said to me dont worry your not in trouble just excuse me I need get over there I moved out his way gave me a smile.
I think notice I got learning differcults and autism I was nevourse but I knew I had not done anything wrong.
But wont stop me seeing Derby play away but I can see why some stay away from away games.

Before tonight we had the joint best defence in the division. I'd say on the whole the defence is the least of our worries.

But I've played against Kevin Hector when he played for the Post Office on a Sunday Morning, Worked with John O'Hare when he got a job at Prestige on City Road in Derby, Only lasted a few days...hard work it was, And after a session in Town with the Ex a good few years back when walking down Saint Peters street a group of men stopped both of us and asked where a good boozer was, I asked what they wanted, Lads pub, One with a few Ladies in, Or just a quiet drink, A soft Scottish voice said we just want a quiet drink...i looked at the man...Only Dave MaKay...sent them to Babbingtons.

Any time we don't lose I'm pleased, any time we play well in bits and pieces even, I'm proud...I don't want to admit it, but we could have won that.

You say this, but I think we would have a comfortable life under Ashley. He has a poor reputation for Newcastle, but in all fairness he established them as a lower premier league side. Would you not take that? I certainly would.
