But my point is it's only really CKR doing about what you might expect (likely better than expected). Waghorn, Jozwiak, Lawrence (albeit in an injury hit season), Knight or Sibley have been producing at anything close to a rate you would expect. We have a general problem not only scoring goals but creating chances and you'd expect more from the players in the squad in terms of ability. I'm not saying any are world beaters but as a whole they are better (based on previous evidence) than they are currently showing which makes me question where does the real problem lie.

Exactly. This isn't about Jozwiak, it's about us as a team this season. We're not good enough. We simply don't score enough. Although I'd like to think we will see better next season, meaning we will see more output from Jozwiak.

I think Marshall should maybe have saved that first goal by Israel   His footwork looked poor

He really isn't as good as people think, yes he saved a few penalties against Serbia to send Scotland to the Euros but I've seen many mistakes from him this season. And there's another one.

So pleased for Kamil tonight, A goal, an assist, and played a big part in the 3rd goal as well.

To all the DCFC fans that have been doubting him, this is what he is capable of when the team plays attacking football.

I agree. I know there is a player in there, I can just tell. The fact that he managed as many goals and assists for Poland in that one game as he has at Derby just backs it up. We're a poor side this season, none of our attacking players have been up to it. It's not just about Jozwiak. We currently don't play in a way that allows him to do much going forward either. He'll be a frightening player for us next season providing this mess is sorted out in the summer.

  4. He hasn't been that good but neither have our other attacking players. I haven't got a clue why he doesn't get more of an opportunity. Surely it can't just be down to discipline. At least he drives forward with the ball and buzzes around the pitch when he plays unlike some others.

  5. These comments about Rooney not being good enough or experienced enough for the job are the same comments some were saying about Frank after we lost 3 in a row with a 4-0 humiliation at Villa.

  6. I actually don't think we're as far away as some of you might think.

Rooney has shown a lot of promise so far, he has managed to get a group of average individuals who looked clueless and lethargic into a genuine team that fights for 90 minutes every single game. He has a great footballing brain, he seems tactically astute and has the staff around him to get even better.

Rooney has turned this club around in a matter of weeks and has instilled a winning mentality into the group. On paper, we have a mid table team at the minute. But look at the results and manner of performances since Rooney took charge. The unity is there, the grit is there, the work ethic is there. The only thing lacking is just a bit of quality.

Sort the mess out off the pitch, get contracts sorted out, give him better players to add to this group and I honestly believe we will challenge next season.

Klopp has changed, used to like him as he didn't blame anyone and his interviews were refreshing. Now he blames VAR week after week, the world is against him and his team, didn't take long for him to become a "victim".

I see what you're saying but he's always been a sore loser. The reason why his interviews were refreshing is because they've won almost every game for the last 2 years

Wayne himself. The Rowett season aside, we've generally tried to place "nice" football which is pleasing to the eye for pretty much the last 8 years(whether that's actually happened or not is another matter).

It's good to see us take an aggressive, energetic approach with players like CKR more than happy to bully the poo out of anybody he comes up against. We've been on the wrong side of teams like that for too long, so it's good to see that's the way Rooney seemingly wants us to play instead.

Rooney is the middle ground. We can play but we can also dig in. I have to say I'm enjoying it, the team are aggressive and horrible to play against. The mentality is spot on
