Can the author of this thread change the title to "Operation Fill Your Tank"?

I've got to drive to Birmingham NEC tomorrow and Thursday for an exhibition (160 mile round trip). I'll be fine for tomorrow but will need some fuel before Thursday, so I'm hoping some degree of sanity has resumed by Wednesday night.
Apparently motoway services are OK, so I should be able to get some, even if it will cost me a kidney at their prices!
For me it's the media and the public that share the blame. Those sodding "Breaking news" banners and clickbait headlines. No excuse for the selfish bar stewards who have been filling up their cars when they wouldn't normally have done so.
Me too, but I always get the train to the NEC (and a pint or two breaks up the boredom).

Random stuff that people do that annoy me;

Just seen the lowlights on Quest. WTF was Curtis doing?

Go on a session with a few mates that makes "The Hangover" films look like a family holiday.

On the train to Sheffield (for a gig) and it's amazing just how many people are travelling alone but appear to have bought the aisle seat next to them just so that their bags have a nice comfortable seat all to themselves.
There are so many of them it's clearly a "don't sir near me because you might have covid" tactic people have really taken up. Never used to be this many.
Been down 2 coaches and couldn't find a seat not occupied by a person or a bag, except for this one seat next to some nob who's sat with his legs wide apart and is sat there coughing, sniffing and sputtering every 10 seconds... at least he's wearing a mask.
I'm going to get on the Sheffield train first tomorrow (end of line station, so already at an advantage), then sit in the aisle seat at a table with my feet-up on the opposite seat, whole table of four to myself, get-in.

People like MM live and breathe making money. When anything threatens that (i.e. DCFC going pear-shaped) they don't give a duck for anything or anyone but their bank balance.

Critchley opening in an attempt to get the 15 runs for a 1,000 in the season. ?
-
Lead up to 22, still batting (or should that be still battered)?
Edit: all out, 23 needed to win. Nice stumping to wrap-up their innings. ?

Guidance
From the fourth Thursday in March, any team sheet for a League game should include at least 10 outfield players who featured on the team sheet for the League game before.
Additional EFL guidance for Championship teams with a stadium in the DE postcode area:
All outfield players will have their bootlaces tied together whilst on the field of play.

It's the usual story isn't it?
It's capitalist free market when there is profit to be made, but the second it becomes a problem, the government have to step in and bail them out. The remaining so-called "big 6" don't have the capacity to suddenly take on millions of extra customers, and can't afford to but the extra gas to supply them - and suddenly the government are throwing our tax payers money at them
Same with the CO2 shortages
I'll be amazed if there is anyone left after this debacle who doesn't believe the energy sector should be back in public ownership
Well EDF are a French state owned company. I believe it's illegal in Germany (and maybe France), for a foreign power to own any utilitiy business?
All the current tossers in the government worry about is winning their seat at the next election and where their next free lunch is coming from.

You don't become THAT full of figure and florid of face by scratting around near minimum wage, eh.... ?
That short segment just added twenty quid to our debt, (just over a minute for two blokes each charging £500/hr).?

Who'd have thought a lad brought-up on a council estate (and a rough one at that) speaks more candidly than an entitled "businessman"!

Darlington I think.
Some mad owner built a 30,000 + capacity stadium for a club that averaged about 3k.
Yes it was Darlington, 25,000 capacity

I didn’t listen but I have read the comments here my two questions are

DCCC win with full bonus points this week, then DCFC being brought-out in a fortnight and storming the league with a run of 38 straight wins.
Six ducks in Sussex's innings, amazing stats, particularly against us. Poor Eddie missed-out on a belter of a game.

MM 100% culpable, no other excuses and he owns the only chuffing assets with any value (PP & MF).
