Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to R@M in The Administration Thread
Just as an aside #SaveDerbyCounty is getting 350 tweets per hour…
#BorisOut is only getting 300 so the twittersphere is more behind us surviving than Boris leaving….I think that is a bit of a win in terms of importance ??

This is all just a bit of finger pointing and posturing before they get their heads banged together by an independent mediator and a solution found. Seen it so many times before.
EFL typically in self preservation mode, Gibson having a bit of a rant and Admin putting the ball in EFL court.
Time to end the party, get the grown ups involved and save DCFC

Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to Ken Tram in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
The EFL should compensate Middlesbrough.
Middlesbrough were right - the regulation was not fit for purpose - EFL were in the wrong.
Derby did not blatantly break the rules. The arbitrators found in our favour - which was overturned by appeal.
We have had a sanction, within the rules.
I think I'm saying that Middlesbrough were not wrong to try to put an end to poor regulation. Everyone agrees with them. The regulator should take the hit, rather than singling outa whipping boy.

What's mad is that if Boro have a claim, then so do Leeds. They could perfectly well argue that our 'cheating' cost them the Play Off Semi-Final and an extra year's worth of Premier League money.
Just shows how ridiculous the whole thing is.

People who don’t think we’ve been punished enough are like people who see someone caught on a tax technicality, and fined appropriately, but demanding the death penalty.
isn’t ours the second biggest accumulated points deduction ever? On top of the embargoes and all the rest. That would be certain relegation for most clubs. But all clubs, no matter how many points they get deducted, have the right to fight in the pitch to overcome those points. Because we have the temerity to actually do that, they think we should be kicked out of the league entirely.
If the aim of the game is to get us relegated, then just relegated us, end our season there and don’t Fanny about with points deductions. But if you’re not going to do that, then don’t get all mardy if, by some miracle, we’re able to overcome it fair and square, on the pitch, with kids.
If we make it, they’ll make a film of this one day.

Ed Dawes: "Hi Mel, long time no see."
MM: " Hi Ed, you fooked that interview up with that Wycombe parasite, didn't you?
Ed Dawes: "Don't talk to me about ducking things up!"

Another stupid question, if the EFL rule that Wycombe and Boros potential compensation are non footballing claims then aren't they fireproof as they have already done a deal with Boro that they can't sue them so there will be no recourse as Boro can't sue.

Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to B4ev6is in My heart is breaking we about to lose our team

Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to JoetheRam in Who can we sue for loss of earnings...
I'd like to sue referee Madley for giving Chris Martin a second yellow for diving when he didn't against Burnley in 2013.
Outcome according to the Trusty Gibson-o-meter:
We win that game.
Burnley crumble in the run in and we overhaul the small points gap to finish 2nd.
In the absence of games against Burnley in the Premier League in 14/15, Leicester gain 4 points less, losing to us 8-0 home and away. Requiring a win on the last day to stay up, they lose 5-1 at home to QPR with Bobby Zamora scoring all 5 and are relegated.
Jamie Vardy, N'Golo Kante and Riyahd Mahrez join Derby in 2015/16, firing them to an unprecedented 5000-1 League Title.
£8 billion or so should do it.

I've just had this message from a Leeds mate
"I've heard from some supposedly ITK person at the Leeds end that they've had a bid for Knight rejected. Thought to be less than £1m. They are also keeping an eye on Plange and Ebosele."

Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to jono in its wednesday and whats the next step ?
The action should come from the EFL
They should be clearly stating they the Boro and Wycombe claims are in breach of EFL rules, regulations and articles of association. They should also be stating that DCFC have been sanctioned with fines, transfer embargoes and points deductions that fully deal with their transgressions.

Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to ramjam1884 in its wednesday and whats the next step ?
so we've got the petition (great work ) and its stirred the pot and got our MP's involved and raised media attention. We've had our moment in parliament, its forced a statement out of the EFL, and MFC and Wycombe. But a bit like all the airtime given to covid over the last 2 year all that really mattered was a vaccine and a roll out.
im feeling a bit lost today that we are all very happy with the outcome and profile our action has generated but the reality is we need some action.
This is the only place i log into now looking for updates - some may argue that Q's job but anyway...
is there a communication between Q and a fans group that could issue some sort of status or timetable ? probably not - i realise its all probably private. but i worry we all sit here thinking we've cracked it when in reality we could be here this time next week and still nothings tangibly happened to resolve this. are we really in a place where we have to just sit and wait to hear ?
sorry for the ramble i feel like an father sat outside an operating theatre with my kid on the table for a life or death operation feeling totally helpless.
