So after what I thought was our best performance of the season against Northampton Town we move on to the 1st round of the FA Cup and an away tie at league 2 Crewe Alexandra 
This is no doubt a potential banana skin as Crewe are currently 5th in L2 and also  the current top goalscorers in L2 with 35 Goals, on the flip side of that though they have also conceded 25 goals 
In 8 Home games Crewe have only lost once so could be a tricky opponent and I certainly think Derby cannot take this game for granted as Crewe would see us as big scalp
Saying that if we play like we've seen in patches we should have too much for them and will be interesting to see the line up with maybe Vickers getting a chance and maybe a few other changes.
For me though I'd like to see us go with the same team that played so well especially in the first half against the Cobblers meaning Sonny Bradley deservedly keeping his place meaning Cash will be on the bench 
Expecting a tough game here and our vociferous support will help us get over the line in this one I think and also  believe a strong start and scoring the first goal  will be crucial 
Crewe traditionally try and play football so I hope we also try to do the same and a cup run would be great for us both financially and from a supporters POV
I'm at work Sunday so can't go but wish for a  safe trip to all Rams fans travelling and hope we are in the hat for the second round draw

Wasn’t recovering from an operation/injury last season when we signed him? So did not fully do the pre season followed by a couple of niggles.
Probably on the upward trajectory for his true capability so should not judge of first few outings anyway and reason to be hopeful his current form is closer to his true level.

As a kick off. I did the Worksop (Halloween) half marathon this morning.
First event since turning 50 but respectable sub 1h50 mins.
Pretty hilly, but nice scenery in Clumber park for a chunk of it. Very well organised and good facilities at start/finish. Done it a few times before.

Not many were enjoying the Cocu, Rosenior football though which kept possession and did not score. The people wanting Rosenior back do not really want what we had, but are hoping that it could eventually turn into something better than it was.

Such a misleading use of statistics. Comparing win ratios of managers who are managing against Man Utd and ones who manage against Forest Green is beyond useless. 

I'm not sure you understand the meaning of the word stability?

Here's your daily reminder that the last time we had a manager who was "good enough" for us to actually win something was 16 years ago, and since then we have had 17 more managers who were not "good enough" for us to win something
So if you genuinely want to throw your own hard-earned money at this situation in order to roll the dice one more time, then you need to give your head a wobble
 

I’m anti sack Warne, then punt on someone else in hope that it works.
Not sure if that makes me pro Warne by default.
Im not sure any manager can resolve the goal scoring problem without recruiting someone who we cannot recruit. This problem has been around since Cocu with several managers other than when we all to briefly had McGoldOne.
We desperately need to find a gem forward from none league or somewhere. Until this happens we can keep perming different managers with likely similar outcomes.

Ffs ,,,, is this a warne out topic now😥

I'm hiding in here from 2 kids.
Very long story short, we are the great aunt and uncle of 2 young boys, Noah (3), Logan (2).
We was approached about becoming guardians for them as their parents are separated and neither in a situation to offer them a stable home.
Was no way we could see them go into care so here they are. Currently with us under a section 20 agreement although we expect it to go through to a SGO order in time where they will stay with us until they are 18.
Last few weeks been a whirlwind, through work and these I've missed the last two games, so I'm in here hiding from those pair that are giving me full calorie burning sessions. 😂

Good on your mate. There's no higher calling than minding vulnerable kids, least not to my way of thinking. Top man. 

Warne has gone on record many times saying he loves a cross, and whilst it’s probably served him well over the years we don’t have the strike force. Collins has got on the end of an odd one but nowheee near enough. 
I agree in that at our goal and chances (Washington, Bird and Hourihan) came from the bit of Football we played so either the players are not capable of doing this consistently or the manager does not want too or can’t coach them. 
Worryingly a couple of players look completely out of sorts. He also seems to hook or drop the same players. 
I almost feel sorry for him, as he’s starting to look a broken man. 
I’m really split on wether he should go now or let’s evaluate come December - could we trust him with another transfer window knowing how many are going to be at out contract or will probably move on. 
They might not be listening but the outside noise must be deafening…

It was the bit around 2 mins into the interview when Barker was asked whether his negative coaching style was having a detrimental impact on players and whether Warne should get sacked with immediate effect - you can't miss it as then Barker headbutts the interviewer causing him to fall to the floor whereby Barker then kicks him repeatedly around the head and body then grabs his mike and breaks it over his knee.
