People who bump into your parked courtesy car and drive off without leaving a note, when you only have a courtesy car because someone bumped into your parked actual car and drove off without leaving a note.

People who say about comedians who they don't like 'he/she just isn't funny'
If people laugh at them then they're funny.
Comedy is 100% subjective so what you mean is that you don't find them funny.
And why we're at it, how did somebody capable of the genius that was Black Adder get to also be the pitiful Mr Bean.
Mr Bean just isn't funny.

I actually think this could be a good idea. I'm convinced he's matured, we saw that at the back end of last season. Whether you like it or not, he's one of the top players at the club now and very experienced. He'll thrive with the responsibility.

I only beat them with the stick because I was a seething cauldron of vitriolic jealousy and it was the only stick I had.
More like a twig really.
A very slender and poorly twig.
With Dutch twig disease.

Really enjoyed that article, very enlightening.
Although if I'm being honest I probably spent longer read the two line bio trying to figure it out, until it dawned on me they have a pronoun of they/them.

This is a stick we lovingly beat forest with. Your European cups don’t count because your opponents were rubbish. Malmö!!!! Lols”.
Doesn’t mean their manager was rubbish though. You can only beat what’s put in front of you.

It's not an argument worth your time. Semi-final and a final in the last two tournaments, and some fans will do anything to move the goalposts to make the achievement seem lesser somehow.
We played the best team in the tournament yesterday and we didn't lose. The team played for each other and defended resolutely. We also bombarded Italy early on, but inevitably, they grew into the occasion.
People bang on about Southgate having this incredible bench, which he does, but how useful is it having loads of wingers? You can't play them all at once. I totally get the argument that bringing them on earlier might have asked more questions of Italy, but that's still up for debate. Our defending kept us in a game against a much better side.
And Italy are better than us. While Chiesa has been outstanding, he is not significantly better than our attacking players, so that is not why they are better. Bonucci and Chiellini are fantastic defenders, but they conceded more goals than Stones and Maguire, who were imperious throughout the tournament. So that is not why they are better.
Italy are better because they can control the ball. We can't. In 2018 Modric was the difference, and last night it was Jorginho. These are the players we just can't seem to produce in this country, for whatever reason.
Qatar will play out much the same. But that doesn't mean we can't win it.

Technically proficient players is exactly what we are developing.
It's why we're world champions at almost every age level .
Did you see the end of the Denmark game? Do you not think that showed brilliant technique in closing out a game.
The Dutch were technical geniuses in the 70s but still lost two World Cup Finals.

Knowing Bransons love of a photo shoot I half expected him to wind the window down and stick his head out with a big grin on his face and a thumbs up.

This is it. We'll never win anything until we develop technically proficient players who can control a midfield.
The idea that we just need to run at teams and they will be terrified of our pace has been tried and debunked many times. Sterling is quick but he barely got a kick last night.
The usual comments about how we should have just attacked constantly not only does our opponents a disservice but is also a wildly simplistic view of football.

Plus, there will be others we aren't even aware of at the moment.
I've followed England since the 1970 World Cup and I cannot remember such incredible strength in-depth.
Look at the 2014 squad and tell me how many you would be desperate for now?
When you consider that no manager was able to combine Gerrard and Lampard and Rooney never delivered at major chanpionships, this squad is light years behind the current one imho.
GK Joe Hart Manchester City
GK Ben Foster West Brom
GK Fraser Forster Celtic
DF Glen Johnson Liverpool
DF Phil Jagielka Everton
DF Gary Cahill Chelsea
DF Phil Jones Manchester United
DF Chris Smalling Manchester United
DF Leighton Baines Everton
DF Luke Shaw Southampton
MF Steven Gerrard Liverpool
MFJack Wilshere Arsenal
MFJordan Henderson Liverpool
MF Frank Lampard Chelsea
MFJames Milner Manchester City
MF Raheem Sterling Liverpool
MF Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Arsenal
MF Adam Lallana Southampton
MF Ross Barkley Everton
ATT Wayne Rooney Manchester United
ATT Daniel Sturridge Liverpool
ATT Danny Welbeck Manchester United
ATT Rickie LambertSouthampton

For the Euros and World Cup, I don't care about style - it's all about the results.
Who knows how successful a more adventurous style of play would have been? Maybe we would have got knocked out in the groups.
Southgate's tactics almost worked. They worked better than any other England manager in the last 53 years and bettered only once over 81 years.

Only 3 players from the squad who're over the age of 28 - Walker and Henderson (31) and Trippier (30). Next on the list is Coady, Maguire, Mings and Johnstone (all 28).
The core of this squad will be together for at least the next 3 tournaments - The likes of Chilwell, Rashford, Mount, Rices, James, Sancho and Foden will only just be hitting their prime by that 3rd one, being 24 or younger now. Bellingham will only be 22 when North America host the World Cup in '26.
Then there's also the ones who missed out on this competition. Abraham, Alexander-Arnold, Greenwood, Tomori, Hudson-Odoi, Gomez. The depth and competition for those future tournaments will only become more intense.

My take on last night:-
The best team over the 120 minutes won but it was a game over very tight margins.
We looked good in the first 25 minutes and got into some very dangerous positions.
Obviously once Italy got back into the game they dominated.
Chiesa looked a fantastic player and caused us all sorts of problems.
Pickford really unlucky with their goal, another 2 inches and it goes out for a corner.
Substitutions were pretty uninspiring and did little to change general play, although we did get back into the match for a short spell of extra time.
Not sure if Southgate was being honest about the decisions on who was taking penalties but, if he was, it was a huge huge error on his part.
If you, as a squad, have been practising penalties for 5 weeks you really shouldn't be needing to put 2 players on, that have not even kicked a ball during the match, to take one.
Disappointed to see Saka thrown in at the deep end with penalty number 5, ridiculous decision.
The miss that turned the tide though was Rashford and I'm afraid if youre goinfg to pretend to be Paul Pogba with stupid run up, on the very biggest stage, then you make sure you score because otherwise you end up looking like a cocky tit.
Plenty of positives but also a gew negatives to take with us from the touurnament.
We are a young team.
Didnt lose a game.
Most clean sheets.
Didnt concede a goal from open play.
Probably didn't see enough of our attacking flair.

Forum post count of course. Pretty obvious really.
The pubs all book using tik tok, snap chat or my space too, so the young girls get an unfair booking advantage.
I wrote to my local Firkin pub on Thursday requesting a place. Posted it before 4pm too with a first class stamp. Got there tonight at 7.50 and all the seats were taken.
It was actually someone's house now, they converted it into flats in 2002. Unacceptable.

44 goals for England and not a single penalty. The best striker this country has ever produced. Cracking documentary about him on BT Sport.

Semis last World Cup.
Final today.
Win it in 2022.
i think Southgate is learning as much as the players.
It's a very young squad with tremendous depth.
I think Southgate is the man to make sure these kids use it as fuel.
No pizza ads though please guys.
