According to you Kane fell into the box having been fouled outside the box. But that isn’t right , the player had his leg wrapped between Kanes thighs. The photo I showed has that position on the line with Kane leaning forward. There’s no way Kane could disentangle himself from that as he leaned into the box.

I think you will definitely hit against an issue with your being in academia for so long, certainly with career oriented jobs as some employers may think you will not be committed to a new career after preferring academia until now. . If you really want to take step out of academia maybe consider a step back into a less well paid job, so then at least you may seem a grafter as well as clever. Truth is I don't really know , but good luck whatever  you do.

That’s not true. Maguire hit the post. Bellingham shot was well saved. But yes Kane’s miss was a real duck up. 

Unfortunately it happens every time with England. Bad luck, bottling the big moments whatever it is it always ends in tears. 

I’ve always been critical of England’s ability to beat the best teams.
Once again we have fallen short.
But I genuinely believe this was our best performance against a good team I have seen in my lifetime. England dominated this game but lost on fine margins.
Italy were the better team in the Euro final.
England were the better team here.
