Oooo… another chance for me to express the hill I will die on!

The midfield diamond was the problem not Bennett starting up front. Plus, Waghorn was barely fit.

Feel free to stay on your own hill regarding a midfield diamond though won't you.  Anyone with eyes could see that Mings could have gone out on the piss  till 3 am, had a curry, then stayed up till midday arriving just in time to get his kit on before going on the pitch and Bennett would still have given him no problems.  On the day he was absolute b*******.  Think someone else must have mentioned Waghorn, try another hill.

I'm sorry but Mason Bennet deserved to start the final, he had probably his best game for us in the semi final against Leeds, he played a big part in the first goal and won the penalty. His harassment and harrying of their defenders played a big part in their capitulation.

It always amazes me how it isn't picked up that the error was changing the dynamic of the midfield was a major factor to our performance against Villa, for me the inclusion of Huddlestone was more detrimental to our performance than Bennett starting.

All opinions.  Marriott's two goals deserved the start.  He terrified Mings when he came on when his afternoon had been that easy he was living on the halfway line.  No other manager would have left a striker on the bench that full of confidence unless it was a personal dislike.  Incomprehensible to me then and now.

Right. In terms of attacking options to get promotion to the Premier League, both were cack.

2 goals in 32 Championship games following that season.

All opinions .  For me Marriott was a far better player than Bennett but needed a midfielder like Mount to be on his wavelength.  3 goals in the playoffs.  Goals against Chelsea, Man Utd and Southampton and a superb finish against table topping Norwich.  Bennett did get a wonder goal against Wigan that he didn't mean to score I suppose.

I do. And everyone thought had we played Fleetwood Town's player Jack Marriott we would have won.

I'm looking at their respective goal stats.  The firestarter is someway behind.  Probably because he's cack.

What argument are you referring to?

Last thing I want to do is to debate a ridiculous point to someone I neither know or care to know; so if you insist that I lost some argument then be my guest and I'll bow down to your ego as it probably makes you feel better.

Neither of us can prove anything either way; so let's leave it there but no doubt you will want the last word if any of your previous posts are anything to go by.

That cuts mate.  I don't know if an ego as huge as mine can take it.  I'll manage it though I'm sure.

match made in heaven! Love to see them fail

They've plastered over crap result thanks to Eustace early season work.  After this result I do hope three or four below them pick up points tomorrow to give them an immediate dose of squeaky arse.  The wriggle room to avoid disaster is running short.

I most certainly didn't lose any argument. I merely deal in facts. Any team that has only managed to amass 11 points in a single season is quite rightly going to be the ridicule of other fans for as long as they hold the record. Denying that makes you open to ridicule.

If the boot was on the other foot, Forest fans would not hear the last of it.

Continue to live in your Derby bubble mate with your rose tinted spectacles on. I'll support DCFC for as long as I live and will continue to go to as many games as I can, but I will be vocal in the disappointing way the club has been ran for the last 20 years with good reason. If that makes me a Forest fan in your mind, then so be it. I won't lose any sleep over it.

You lost your argument mate in spades.  I'll lend you my glasses if you think otherwise.

I'm not so sure. Luton have shown enough to suggest that they could scrap their way out of the bottom three. They probably will survive, but not without a significant improvement on their form to date.

I've a feeling that they'll get well drubbed in their second round of games as they will run out of steam with a small squad and in the second round of games they won't be surprising anyone. Done better than I thought but that result the other night was a right kick in the bollox.

Not having that in the slightest. Wilder also took Sheffield United to two promotions and a 9th-place finish in the Premier League, far better than Pearson’s Leicester.

Plus Wilder had more success at other clubs (promotions with Oxford and Northampton, and I think some non-league clubs).

Have or don't mate.  Wouldn't put Wilder in charge of putting me bins out.

    I didn't lose anything.

You are simply refusing to accept that Derby are the laughing stock of English football. We are. Stop denying it.

I live and breathe DCFC, but I accept it.

If them down the road had suffered it, we wouldn't let it lie.

You lost your argument mate.  Well and truly.  Your a Forest fan who comes on here with a few facts.  Your much vaunted Garibaldi lost to us that year and finished 27 places below us.

Don't think you can lump Wilder, and arguably even Cooper, in with Pearson and Lambert.

Wilder has done great jobs at clubs other than Sheffield United, and Cooper won silverware with England and did a reasonable job at Swansea.

Pearson took Leicester to two promotions, kept them up when it looked impossible and signed at least 5 or 6 players who won the premier league for some magic beans. He did a great job at Watford till they sacked him with 2 games of the season left and promptly lost them both.  He's a far better manager than Wilder for me.

    What a pathetic response.

What is so tiring about my post?

Disagree, by all means, but please tell me which part and let's debate.

You trundle out exactly the same tripe dragging your club down on a regular basis like an 11 point sadist sighting the same old rhetoric . We discussed it before . You lost.  It's boring and tiring.

It's actually quite amusing how every season, a thread like this appears and fans get their hopes up that that embarrassing record might get beaten.

It will never get beaten and no team has ever even come close to it. The closest was a huge 27% more with 15 points.

We remain and will remain the laughing stock of English football whether we like that or not and unfortunately for us; Forest will always have the more ammunition to throw at us than we have at them.

Sorry mate, I've not phrased my question very well. What I should have asked was, do we feel like the three parties would agree? I feel like TJJ is having fun, the lads seem to have taken to him and I feel certain that the club would want to retain him, so might there be any reason Arsenal would recall him?

I'm hoping not as he's been here throughout his injuries and we'll only have had him available for a few games. I'm hoping the fact that he also appears to be prospering under Warne will stand us in good stead too 🤞

Unlike the Osula call back where Sheff Utd had limited options, I suspect Arsenal would give very limited, if any, gametime . Gut says they'd prefer him to play so he can build fitness, can be accessed and then they can decide whether they play him at any point in the future or he's getting goals so they can cash in.

I can't see him starting many games due to injury risk if he stays to be honest.  Half an hour stints in matches will keep him fit hopefully and increase his scoring chances against tiring defences.
