Middlesbrough’s name always comes up about cashin, if he was to go there would love us to take less money to get Matt Clarke back in return. Only 2 starts this season and been in the bench in nearly every game. Would be immense at this level and only 27 has a good few years left in him.

He's had  terrible back issues and I think I'd rather eat a rats turd than do them any favours.  I suspect any offer we get will be better than them for Cashin and Derby so hopefully a moot point.

At the end of the day, the bottom three will have all picked out Forest as their main chance of staying up, so they’ll all be gunning for Forest. Everton will easily pick up enough points. Crystal Palace aren’t realistically in any trouble.

We’ll see how long Nuno’s new manager bounce lasts, but it’s 3 of 4 to go down, and all 4 are going to do what they can to win that mini league.

I think they're well past their due date to be honest. I fancied the three promoted teams to go down, but these as the next most likely option.

She sounds nice. Do you have her number?

Could be in luck, I think she lives here now . Possibly the same girl I saw crouch down and pee like a cow outside Derby bus station.  At one point it seemed it may merge with the Derwent running just behind.  She then screamed what are you looking to bystanders when that would seem to be blindingly obvious.  Made even more grimly hilarious that there was a pub with a toilet just 20 feet away

WHAT ROONEY SAID AFTER THE STOKE DEFEAT

On his side's performance, Rooney told Sky Sports: "There's no excuse for putting in good performances then doing that today. It's unacceptable and personal pride has to come into it. Today I have questioned that because we were nowhere near good enough and not a team I want to put out."

When asked if Birmingham - who are partly funded by minority shareholder and NFL legend Tom Brady - will bring in new faces in the market next month, Rooney said: "I hope so. It's clear that there are issues there. It's something we're looking at, we don't want players for the sake of it though. We want players who make an impact."

Blackburn at home and a purple face after 20 mins is all I'm saying.

He is worth more now to us than he was then.  The new TV deal is much more generous and far far far more generous to Championship rather than League One teams.

If we wouldn't sell in September, we sure as hell wouldn't now.

    We were selling then

  6. I believe the club must activate contract option within 6 months of a contract running out, or said player can then sign pre contract terms elsewhere.

I'd assume the club must do it by Jan 30th if that's the case, if his contract runs out end of June.  If someone offers  4 million quid like they did in September however, I'd expect Derby to have his taxi booked.

The most amusing element of the whole Wilder debacle was that he wanted to be known by his new nickname - Dr Sleep. Yup, that one will stick.

Almost sent me into a deep one.  Job done

Mate, Plymouth is the putrid boil on the arse of Devon, we've been trying to get the Cornish to have it for years but even they don't want it

I've been to Plymouth a few times and I'm certain it looked better before the Luftwaffe decided it was good for a moral bashing bomb fest. At least it's been rebuilt. Stoke is horrific. Anthrax Island is an upgrade

  9. I'm hearing that Forest have offered Liverpool a 7 million pound fee and an inordinate wage to Jota to sign on loan in January as long as he's fit enough.  Only six months and they're thinking it over as is the player to prove his fitness after a patchy period.  The source is very good and doesn't normally tell me anything without legs.  As you know I only post this sort of thing if it's pretty much certain.

Rare trip home for this one - thought centre backs were excellent, two great finishes, easily the better team - as is so often the case in this league.

great numbers from Lincoln fans on a Thursday night for their cup final. Thought we were quiet, but I was in the West Stand so it might have been that !

Ward’s crossing in the first half (particularly his corners) is a real strength despite his moment of madness in defence. Just not quite sure where he fits in defensively.  Nyambe was a great signing and want him back.

great to see Thompson back on the pitch. Hope he can play a significant part second half of the season.

Out Wide with Nyambe behind would be about the best I suppose. He's a winger really and looked our best player before he got injured.  He just can't defend with any reliability.  Him and Wilson playing 45 minutes a piece out wide should really be a pain in the arse for a fullback.

Haaland is acknowledged by many as one of the best centre forwards at the moment, I hate to use stats because they need context and you can spin them anyway to prove a point, but I personally think a CF will have less touches because you want them in the box more, it's what they do with them that counts more than the quantity.

Against Red Star Belgrade EH had 16 touches, Against West Ham it was 22 touches and Fulham 17 touches. Today Collins had 17 including one goal 😏

Van Nistlerooy was the master at goals with no other contribution but he scored lots.  We had a mini me version in Strupar who had the overall game of a snail but hit a ball like an exocet.  Shame he had so many injuries.  That Everton game were Foletti  cost us 3 goals and he came on a sub and smashed in two beauties was a perfect example.  He'd been fit we'd have stayed up.

My take from watching on RamsTV, but I feel somewhat we are currently playing in second gear. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, in that I think how we are playing is pushing teams out of position and we find gaps on the wing or around the box, but it’s also can be a slog to watch. We spent years in the champ working out how to break through teams that sit in at PP and maybe this is a good way to counter it.

We won’t get away with it over the next few games, and I don’t think Warne is best pleased with the last couple of performances either so I expect something to change. We will have a very good indication about where we are after Jan 1st I think.

The game we lost 1-0 to Millwall was a particular favourite the week after we were robbed at Burnley.  Their goalie was concussed, broke two arms and two legs and got castrated all within 90 minutes. Somehow he carried on and was a proper trooper.  Nowadays that match would have gone on for 2 hrs.

What ! .. Collins ! he ran himself in to the ground leading the line, harrying, provided, assisted linked and scored.
yes, Cash and Nelson were brilliant. The team played the ball to slowly, it wasn’t a great game, we started slow but we’re in contrail after the goal, only to let them back in. How many saves did our keeper have to make ? = 1 ?

Lincoln weren’t dangerous but they were very well organised kept a shape really well (something we helped by so pedestrian at times )

Cashin is doing a lot more of what I suggested would turn him into a top end championship defender last season .  He's learnt to not spend the first 15 minutes of a game smashing into people head on and stopped playing too tight on quicker forwards leaving no room to recover if he's turned.

He'll be a good player at the next level but a couple more years till he's better than that, but he could be.  It will be a loss when he goes and not sure we'll be able to get him back on loan like we almost did transfer deadline day.  We really should push for a sell on.

Wilson’s impact was great, but I don’t think he really made that impact until Sibley was on the pitch (unless I was mistaken). Warne himself said Wilson didn’t play great for the first 10 mins or so of the second half.

What Sibley did was exactly what Bird and Fornah don't.  Give a defence something to be concerned with, by running at them 40 yards from goal rather than collecting sideways on and moving slowly.  it's shifting them from a a comfortable position in their own third and making space.  Sometimes he's better at it than at other times but I can't see any benefit in him sitting on his arse watching Fornah looking like Bambi on ice for an hour. He's a better player.

Lovely early Christmas present. Won't get a better one. Now Derby  don't ruin my Boxing Day. I've forked out £31 for a ticket see you at Wigan. Looking forward to a celebratory Wigan kebab after the game.

No reason we shouldn't beat Wigan .  There results over the last few weeks have been pretty gash from what I can see.  However, Wigan on Boxing day is a 0-0 Christmas tradition. The rest is a bonus.

Cash and Nelson are too good for this team.

They're the best we have.  To be fair, I didn't think Nelson would be a good signing but he's been very good.  I'm honestly not bothered if Bird goes if it gives us more goals in the team. Thinks he's an average player.
