Same thing bothered me. Someone claiming physicality being his weakness hasn't seen him play. I guess it's the stereotype answer: Will Hughes is so technical so can't be good at tackling. Buchanan is so young as a defender therefore needs to build some muscle. Both cases couldn't be further from the truth.
Hopefully Lee can quickly attract some PL team to invest in him. We need to make room for Brown!

If Brentford were bringing this bloke in for less than 2 mil they would be lauded for the breadth of their scouting network and imagination in the transfer market.
We sign him and he's a donkey who is instantly comparable to failed signings we made two decades ago

That's what I thought. Better to spend zero money on a player who turns out crap then loads on a player who also turns out crap. Either way we still have a crap player who hasn't improved our side and we are left in the same situation still needing reinforcements. 
 

Is It REALLY that impressive....they have unlimited millions to spend and have the highest amount of kids out on loan than any other team in the world.... if you are going to have 10,000 kids in your system then surely It stands to reason that a few of them are going to be ok...?

I've been one of Keogh's greatest supporters over the years, but I believe his actions over this incident have cost the club a great deal. 
The honour of being captain isn't just about wearing an armband, it's about being a leader on and off the pitch. That night when his leadership was needed, he wasn't up to the job and let the club down. He must have known that Bennett and Lawrence must have been over the limit, but didn't do enough to make sure everyone got home safely. 
As a result of Keogh's failure, the club has suffered massive disruption and appalling publicity. Also, we have lost, in Keogh, our captain and a key player. With us struggling to adhere to FFP, we couldn't afford to replace him with a similar quality player for the next 18 months, whilst also paying his wages. 
His dismissal was entirely justified imo and if people expect the club to have also sacked the other 2, then this would have cost the club even more, allowing a competitor to pick them up for nothing. 
I believe the club, having organised this event with the best intentions, have been left with little choice on how to react.

Too much snobbery in the alcohol world, it all gets you smashed the more you drink, not telling me those chocolaty nutty aromas with the honey after tastes can be found once your 5 pints in and already designing the kebab to end the night on.
Why I laugh at those wine tasting, swirling it and sniffing away trying to act sophisticated when we know it gets gulped down bypassing the tongue and tastebuds whilst on the sofa wearing Primark pyjamas and watching Ant & Dec.
I say all this but there is one drink, one drink which really is not suitable for human consumption and that’s cider, now I can only imagine it’s some kind of nostalgia thing, throwback to being kids when you tried to get the most for your money, Lambrini worked at times but 2 litres of White Lightening really hit the spot. That sickly sweet fizzy apple smell really does remind you of those teacher training days down the local park. 
Guess it’s a little like Star Wars and Dr Who, makes absolutely no sense watching these other than that nostalgic feelings they give you.
