At this point it’s going to be irrelevant whether Rooney is/could be a good manager or not.

Dont see how you can compare the 2 when they play different positions. Aluko is a winger and hutchinson is a cdm/box to box. Hutchinson was good as was aluko in flashes. The time with hutchinson will be when hes playing in the championship with expereienced players who will not give him time and just go through him. Although do like the look of him reminds of a little bit of bielik

Couldn’t agree any more on bird. He was class but not got any confidence in himself anymore. The bird from cocus first season was immense and now for some strange reason he offers nothing going forward or defensively and offers the odd sideways pass. I really want to see the bird from 2 seasons ago who came forward with the ball and was slick with his 1 2 passes but after last season we can’t carry anyone. Also from the first half shows we need more attacking options I though aluko and Morrison and even baldock offered what we need and add in jozwiak and ckr and Lawrence quite like the look of that

Think that was more down to Everton and Sheffield united having options than him being injured unlike Davies. Maybe I’m wrong and he was injured all the time

Just to buy the club is worth 60 million and media are saying people won’t buy it with debt. Other clubs are going to want 40 million minimum to buy them. This club is worth the debt. Fantastic stadium fantastic academy. A wage budget of less than 15 million at the moment. Try buying any other premier league ready club facilities for less than 40 million these days and I’ll say differently. 

It will be academy if we don’t have a new owner. The wage budget is probably now one of the lowest in the championship. Was 14 million now prob even less so wages are at a premium. The free transfer market looks incredible this season you could get a half decent squad of free transfers. One of the academy lads will go hopefully for 10 million plus. Transfer fees will be nowhere near what they normally are so there will be a handful of teams paying more than 3 million a player as no one has the money apart from the relegated clubs.

The price of a business is all to do with profit and turnover. Burnley, at the moment, have a massive turnover compared to ours and are guaranteed to have for thee years due to parachute payments. The new owners could asset strip and take the TV money and earn more than they spent buying Burnley. Not possible at Derby.
