GB SPORTS reacted to Mucker1884 in Bolton sellout.
One thing's for certain... it wasn't full.
My seat was empty, due to me being on a hospital bedside vigil from 3pm yesterday until we said goodbye to my almost-93 year old F-I-L at 17:15 today, at which stage I was still none the wiser as to the fantastic news emanating from the other side of town!
I'm gonna leave the matchday thread catch up for now, as I'm shattered, suffice to say, I hope each and every one of you who did turn up have had a bloody fantastic day.
What. A. Result!
Up The Effin' Rams! 🐏

GB SPORTS reacted to Comrade 86 in Match Thread: vs Reading (H)
I do wonder about some on here. We were miles better than them and I lost count of how many cheaty little fouls they put in tonight that weren't carded. We were also the only side that looked like scoring all night. Does anyone really think they deserved a point tonight? I really don't get the mardiness from some quarters.

GB SPORTS reacted to Crewton in Match Thread: vs Reading (H)
None of the posters on their forum has yet flagged up the push on Bradley for their goal. All they're angsting about is how hard done by they were in a game that, if it had been a boxing match, they'd have lost on points by half-time.

i agree in part with you, but a part of the problem is that even while we were still being sledgehammered by the EFL, Reading were getting the kid gloves treatment, and have continued to do so ever since. How they have been able to keep on spending through all this I have no idea, and although that minority singing what they did is unacceptable, it is at least to a small amount understandable.

GB SPORTS reacted to Mick Brolly in Paul Warne
Did you hell as like it was a massive tantrum at the manager

GB SPORTS reacted to DCFC Kicks in Paul Warne
No, Port Vale are the worst team we've played all season. Good win today, Warne at his best. I still stand by my criticisms.

That aged well, they're not the worst team we've ever played in a league match now, surely Bristol Rovers have now taken over that mantel.................................until the next team we beat?

GB SPORTS reacted to Old Spalding Ram in Brian Clough 20th September 2004
Sinfin Lane training ground.
No running water, old railway carriage to store the nets, corner flags, line paint etc, grass cut by the council, Ford Transit mini bus down from the Baseball Ground and then pile back in for a shower back at the BG.
No jumpers for goalposts tho……..the players uprooted the real thing and hid em behind the carriage! 👍😁

GB SPORTS got a reaction from Crewton in Brian Clough 20th September 2004
I was in France and on the way back home.
Myself and my other half (a Forest Fan!!) were sitting in a Campanile Restaurant(Bethune), having our Dinner and the TV was on (TF1).
I looked up and saw the famous clip of him coaching the guys (at Raynesway?)
i knew immediately that he had passed and nudged the boss as she had her back to TV.
We were both upset and had leave the Restaurant.
My wife had met him quite a few times in a role for St John ambulance at the City Ground and it felt quite personal to her.

GB SPORTS reacted to Miggins in Dave Myers RIP
I was shocked today to hear that the lovely Dave Myers, one half of the Hairy Bikers, has died. Mr. Miggins and myself love this duo and have all of their DVDs. I hoped so much that he was on the road to recovery as he's recently recorded a series with Si King and was able to ride his beloved motor bike again after thinking his biking was a thing of the past. We went to see the pair at Buxton Opera House and it was a wonderful evening - you just felt like it was an evening amongst friends - so relaxed and very funny. Whenever I feel run down, tired, sad or poorly I wrap myself up in a fleecy blanket and watch the Hairy Bikers and it always helps to restore my spirits. Thanks for all the inspiration, love, friendship, warmth and laughs, Dave. You will be very sadly missed. Much love to Dave's wife, family and friends, especially the wonderful Si King. X
