I've just read a report that basically states there's nothing in the vacine that would cause blood clots and in any case the total number of cases is so small as to be insignificant statistically when looking at the side effects of a mass immunisation programme.
In addition, it was pointed out than when dealing with a pandemic, pausing immuniation due to side effects without a clear link (or reducing immunisation rates as several of our EU friends have done) can actually be worse than sticking with the programme as more folk will now die from Covid in those countries....

I would have gone to the local surgery but it's all been centrallised due to Covid - Royal is fairly convenient and the booking system works well - just need to take a 2m stick with me if I have to go again ?

I was going to post something similar - it does explain what's going on, but whether you have a clue what it means and how things get to where they end up is a different matter....

I liked the original Bladerunner but 2049 bored me senseless. I knew it was a slower paced scifi but all the same...no story to speak of. It was like watching through treacle. Might watch again to make another judgement.

I was actually quite impressed with Collymore's response to this - basically said that if it was Forest fans that were racially abusing CKR then they need to realise that were effectively abusing him as well - and also every black player that's ever pulled on a Forest shirt.
Strong message though possibly not strong enough to get through the thick skulls of the neanderthals that do this sort of thing....

Even with the continual rooster-ups from the current government, Labour are still a long way from being re-elected, so we can probably rule out any likelyhood of Chinese style monitoring in the forseeable future.
The bigger concern with any form of ID card is not really what is stored (governments already have vast amount of info about individuals) but the controls put in place around who can access the data. For instance the DVLA can probably put together a pretty convincing case to have access to a driver's medical records as it may help them keep medically unfit/unsafe drivers off the roads - but should they also be able to see that 20+ years ago you met a dodgy girl in a nightclub that left you with a bad dose of the clap?
Plus, if agencies with genuine requirements can access your data, it's only a (short) matter of time before that same data is available to those with more unsavoury reasons. Sorting out the mess when you've had your credit card details stolen is hard enough - wait til they can get hold of your full ID card info....
Once the data is pulled together and made easily available via an ID card, it's out there for good - that's a worry as there's no way back....

Arsenal versus Man City is as dull as ditch  water.... City scored after 2 minutes and since then they’ve been happy to fanny about with the ball while Arsenal seen terrified to take a risk.....

Personally, I am sick to death of this topic, it’s a football forum, here to discuss Derby County and 95% of user reports are from the Coronavirus threads, previously Politics.
It’s the same members, exactly the same all day every day squabbling, I have no idea why you all can’t create a private group in PM and moderate this yourselves.
Actually I know why, because you don’t get on, so why on earth continue to debate this I’ll never know, but it has to stop, it really does.
We banned politics, don’t make us ban Coronavirus, don’t ruin this forum for others that are able to communicate and have healthy discussion without the pettiness.
And if you don’t agree with the moderators, that’s fine, I fully understand, quote this post in a PM to me and I will remove your account without the 30 day cooldown and you’re free to go find another forum with the completely fair and neutral moderation you seek.

Not sure how the ref gave a penalty when the defender was already on the floor and looking the other way when the Everton player fell over him, but delighted that Liverpool lost....
