I don't have a problem with Companies making a profit--my pension depends on it!  But there must be some measure of control; whether that to ensure standards (water cos), excessive profiteering, (Oil cos), level of investment. The various OfXXX seem totally incompetent and certainly biased away from the consumer.
Incidentally most of your pensions depend on it as well.

Looking recently; nothing to do with footy.
Quotes are all over the place but assuming a reasonable quality coach and reliable firm for a 56 seater you are looking at £60/hour plus £3 per mile.
You do the maths! But an estimate for a London trip is about a grand, reasonable only if you fill it!
    Would you risk organising it?

Prudent is not the same as austere necessarily. Our income limits will be way ahead of most L1 teams and the rules allow us a bit of freedom. But I'm all for prudent.
Our recent years transfers in were a bit excessive but we did seem to be forever playing people out of their normal positions Had we not done this they may have done a lot better for us.

You need to have the original "ram pack" rubber bands for it to be worth anything.?
For you kiddies out there it strapped the 8k ram block into the zx81! Hitech indeed.

I was with LV, quote almost doubled for renewal. The Meerkats gave me a quote lower than last time--with.....LV. Rang; bloke on end said its a different area of the company can't help you. So I went with RAC!

Taking 13 hours to drive to Devon to see family, only bits of motorway.
Convoys of caravans nose to tail up the hills on the A38 south of Bristol. Not room to get a razor blade between them, overtaking impossible. I developed a hatred that still lives in me to this day.

My car tells me that in 14000 miles, auto stop has saved me approximately 51.1 miles of fuel or emissions. So for this monumental saving I have been lugging around a huge, heavy, battery, beefed up starter motor, starter ring on the engine, larger generator and more complex electronics. I am dubious that it is actually saving anything.

Sounds simple, but if the top teams in the world with the best coaches can't do it better than 3 times in a hundred, what chance do we stand?
From the plethora stats I found there was a team in 17/18 season that hit 10%--West Brom, over double the next best team that season. Get hold of the videos someone.
My view when we win a corner....meh!

    So how does it work?
Apart from individual physiological weakness' like Michael Owen's hamstring, there is a general rule of thumb: Young heal quicker than old.
Old has an advantage (in some cases) like knowing how to avoid injury, but that means pulling out of risky situations. So you have one or two old heads and a lot of youngsters.
Dave MacKay always said he knew where to stand and let the youngsters put the yards in!
