Is it me or do those all sound like made up names from Roy of the Rovers circa 1975 🤷‍♂️

Collins' problem is that he gets fed up waiting for the ball and leaves the centre forward position vacant far too often. That's we he is usually average - he's playing as winger/midfielder for 30 minutes a game.
When he's where he should be, he's excellent at this level. Aggressive, quick enough over 5 yards, good in the air and pretty clinical.
I wonder how much of the positioning issue would disappear if we created more in midfield?

Best midfielder at the club. Leaving as won't sign a new contract. Good fee. Keep the player for the rest of the season.
He came through the ranks, stood by us when we were on our arse, does his best, good egg arond the place, getting a bigger wage in a higher division, club doesn't lose out.
Max Bird comes out well, Derby County come out well.
Moaners, please shush. I'm embarrassed by you.

Our bench vs Cheltenham was -
Wildsmith Bradley Thompson Fornah Fapetu Robinson Ward
No matter your opinion of Gregory you cannot deny if yoy put him on that bench he instantly improves it. Is he the man everyone wants, no, but will he improve our bench & offer something as a sub, yes he would

I actually liked Gregory the first time round. Big lad with a good footballing brain, I think he’d suit the way we play. I’m a fan of Collins but his actual hold up play leaves a lot to be desired, Gregory would definitely be an improvement in that regard. Whether he’s as much of a goal threat I’m not too sure but would be nice to have another option.

Favourite memory, 1981, played on it, won on it, got a winners trophy on it.................fantastic days!

I am fully expecting us to give him a warm welcome tomorrow by kicking the ball on to his head at every opportunity and at no point considering putting pace up against him to make him look bad. We are very thoughtful like that.

I think some of the criticism he gets is harsh. He’s not the long term answer in midfield, but Bird and Hourihane can be equally if not sometimes more frustrating in the quality v consistency stakes.
I do think he will find it hard to get back into the team, simply because we can’t afford to have players playing their way into form or fitness at this stage of the season.
However I get the sense he’s a really good pro though and that is important. He really stepped up to the plate and was very reliable playing at right back last season.
From videos and clips on our social media channels, you also get the feeling he’s a good character and good to have in the dressing room and around the club.
If he moves on be it in January or the summer, he should go with our well wishes.

It’s been standard for a good while now that 1 player holds the fort. To my mind, Elder is the last pick for that job - I have to say he’s a big question mark generally in my book. In the past it’s been Corey Smith, Nyambe, so players with a mostly defensive brief, who’re least likely to score.

Possibly one of my favourite Derby players in recent history. Not a flair player but solid, reliable and loyal. You can trust him to do a job whenever he plays.

It's absolutely fair to criticise elements of that performance and that is what people are doing.
Winning the match doesn't alter the fact that significant chunks of that second half were desperately poor and we should expect better from the players and manager.

We really need to sort out the defence. 3 goals against in 8 games during the winning run versus 8 goals against in 4 games since Oxford. That's a major concern. We have to get back to clean sheets.

Really looking forward to tonight. We have a chance to move into the top 2, would be so good if we took it. Feels like a long time since we were in a position like this, probably Lampard season. Come on you Rams!

Didn't we get told by a Sunderland fan "he's just like that in every bit of club media" in his demeanor.
Either way, it was unlucky for him and as it never had a chance to become anything there's nothing to much to say except I hope he gets fit and makes a career for himself.

He's properly gone off the deep end, I guess he's seeing himself as the last great people's champion.
I don't mind railing against crap punditry, but to act as if women pundits have the monopoly on talking nonsense is just wrong. It's fine to have an opinion, but what he's spouting is outright vitriolic and personal, and it's little wonder it's inspiring hateful messages and death threats.
I've disagreed with pundits, but to compare Eni Aluko to facist dictators?

That was a shame. It felt like a game too far, we looked low on energy and a few players weren’t at it. I was impressed with Peterborough, they were full of running and looked dangerous throughout.
Got to dust ourselves off now and start another run. COYR.
