Rooney on Sibley today: 
 

I honestly think Rooney has treated Sibley very very poorly. 

Yeah, very good performance from him the other night. I was critical of him in the previous couple of games, but he seemed much more composed and calm against Barnsley - his decision making was better, he caught everything he needed to, and made a worldie save to secure the point as well. 
Well done Kelle. He’s still a good backup goalkeeper at this level - his really stupid mistakes are becoming less common, and he’s capable of the odd incredible save to boot. Can’t complain really.

No chance he’d come back here - he’ll be holding out for a middling Premier League job, or maybe even a really easy job elsewhere like Celtic. I’d have him back without a shadow of a doubt though, he knows how to motivate a team, and get them playing good, attacking football. God knows we need some goals right now.
I hold great memories of the one season he had here, and don’t begrudge him the move to Chelsea originally.

Definitely we need something before this summer desperately 

Hmm, very interesting... good news that we’re working on an alternative takeover, it’s been clear for months that BZI don’t have a penny to their name. Good to see there’s a few interested parties as well, hopefully one of them will save us and secure the clubs future. Sounds like he, or his backers at least, actually do have the cash to buy a football club and aren’t just a bunch of chancers, so feeling more hopeful about this one. 
Next week seems to finally be the deadline for the Sheikh. Should hopefully see some progress on a takeover soon then, and not before time, the club needs to move on to working with some legitimate buyers.
