Maybe in the day they did. But I’m annoyed. Over the season they deserved nothing. That they’ve managed to sneak into Europe having finished 8th in the league is daylight robbery. They’ve had one good game all season, and that was it. They scraped to the final with a lucky draw, and lucky results.
They've screwed over City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle with that win.
Arsenal are wondering where that performance was when they played City in the league.
City are wondering where their double double is.
Chelsea thought they see home and hosed in the Europa league.
And Newcastle have been kicked out of Europe altogether.
in fact they’ve screwed over Tottenham as well, being so crap in the champions league this season ruined our coefficient (I know that’s probably fault of other clubs too, but United being crap didn’t help).
so spawny that they can have such A rubbish season and still end up with a trophy and in a decent European competition. Grr. 

Let’s face it, if Leeds go up, I don’t really care whether they finish higher or lower than Forest, as long as they both finish in the bottom 3. Anything less than that outcome is a disappointing season. 

Update on my "another one bites the dust" thread. Torquay have new owners a new manager AND have taken Neil Warnock on as a Director.
Torquay was his first management job  before moving on an up.

You mock us but your beloved club is no stranger to finishing bottom in The PL. it’s happened 3 times which I believe is still a record.

Purposely broke the rules then cried about it, honestly wish they'd given them another 2 points for appealing.

We did actually have the Premier league record for the most cards in a season. Leeds took the record from us in 2021/22 so the world righted itself there.

Washington didn’t look good enough in league one being honest, definitely one to move on if we can.

This is a team & manager that blew a 4-0 1st Leg lead in the Play-offs last season.

I don't mind Burton. They're a small outfit and they have punched above their weight which is good to see. Unfortunately it looks like back down to league 2 for them. Hopefully they'll have a go and get out the division.

At the risk of coming across as a party pooper...
Away fans invading the pitch at Cambridge, particularly "in numbers", will almost certainly lead to sanctions against DCFC.  It will most likely lead to fisticuffs on the pitch between rival fans, and... this is my favourite bit... potentially lead to individuals and/or groups being left with a criminal record and/or some form of ban on attending future matches.
Home fans invading the pitch after the Carlisle game would likely follow the above, plus piss off those who, due to being a little more considerate and polite, choose to remain in the stands to applaud our heroes, and will likely... as has happened in the past... lead to the abandonment of any planned "Lap of Honour" by the players/staff, which of course, should happen for the enjoyment of us all.

I have never understood how football has allowed this bizarre situation to be accepted where the Clubs pay the fees for the player’s agents. These players employ their agents- they work for them and benefit from their efforts. Yet the Clubs pay the fees ! It’s nonsense. The players themselves should be paying for THEIR agent’s fees.
Madness.
