I think people get too fixated on this.  Yes we want to get more players in the preferred age bracket but if we are adding 10 players this summer it doesn't mean they will all need to fit that profile.

Just reading a thread from Millwall fans about Burey - seems like his head has gone from a series of racist comments from some of his own supporters. He’s been labelled as ignorant, a problem by a couple of the fans, another had a different take and classed him as a confidence player, extremely introvert. 
Whoever the kid goes to, personally, I’m just glad he’s getting out of that environment and to a club where he won’t be racially abused by his own fans.

within 60 miles of Derby is much more congested.
Southampton also has historic first dibs on all the Guerns, Jers and Sarks from t'channel isles...🤣

Like most people I'm intrigued to know who's on Warnes radar and I don't think we'll know until its signed and sealed.
Here's a name that I've not seen mentioned (maybe because it's totally unrealistic).....Carlos Borges. Got to be on PW"s radar after he tore us apart in the Pizza Cup.
Speculation that he'll be let out on loan this year to taste senior football. 
 

New Academy Manager Matt Hale signed from Southampton’s academy. This is a duplicate post on my part but made sense to pop it in the Academy Thread too. Hopefully this goes some way to reassuring people the academy is still a priority and to me seems like an exciting and forward thinking appointment as Saint’s academy has produced decent talent over the years, hasn’t it?
