The worst bit is CKs has outlined a pretty good plan. Gary Cook coming on board, Rooney will sign a 3 year deal, Stratford involved heavily. I wonder if someone else gets the club if he’ll be able to chip in still. I’d hope so for his sake as he’s got this far and cleared the path way for everyone else. Like a sprinter leading the race then trips 5m away from the line and doesn’t come first

I would say Ebiowei has the potential to be a better player but we have to accept we are in a poor bargaining position and that these guys play football for a living, not out of loyalty.

I think the basics don’t change - will we play them - are they good enough - can we afford them - if so then it’s a managers choice and at least that bit starts getting interesting - I am very interested in which centre forwards Rooney wants and which ones he can bring in because we simply don’t have any coming through our junior ranks as we had to sell them to survive 

Flipping eck, whilst doomscrolling Twitter for the 177th time today and scrolling past all the trees that seem to be celebrating promotion by living on the dcfc timeline. Spotted a tweet from that perennial numpty Adam Fisher stating that MM has a bid in that get us -12 points and him the club back at a reduced price.
Imagine the stones on MM if that is true (which I doubt)! Give us a year from hell and mental anguish, relegation, asset stripping and near ruination and then walks back through the door all: "Ey up Wazza and co, no hard feelings eh?"

Brilliant. I’m like that in life. A fairly thick veneer of reasonable balanced behaviour, seeing “both sides now” Feeling like a sage and all round amiable fellow looking for consensus   - sometimes almost above all that petty squabbling .. then … someone presses a button and mr 6 year old tantrum purple face loses it ( I’m talking visceral verbals here, not physical weaponry I hasten to add)
.I end up apologising, eating humble pie and swearing to myself be a better man in future and I mean it ! God if it was one thing I could improve about myself .. Don’t let them see that button, it helps no one.
