I don't get all this we mugged WBA, many baggies fans have been bitter about it ever since. I keep reminding them that we deserved our spot in the Premier by finishing 8 points ahead of them in the league, likewise Bolton deserve to go up and have finished 10 points clear of Oxford and I wouldn't begrudge them a lucky win in the final.
QPR was a treble mugging, we finished well ahead of them, we outplayed them in the final and they cheated FFP.

As I posted elsewhere, his contributions per minute played (goals + assists) are higher than Mendez-Laing, so to say he hasn't contributed is factually nonsense. As recently as Wycombe away, he set up two massive chances for NML and CBT and it wasn't really his fault that they weren't converted.
That said, he won't be good enough for Championship level and moving him on would be best all round, but please don't try to tell me he hasn't contributed.

Another mystifying decision by a Championship owner. Accept that Hull did invest in the squad/brought in some big money loans but its hardly like they were blowing the rest of the division out of the water. Rosenior was nominated for Championship manager of the season & they finished a mere 3 points outside the playoffs - a damn sight better than the position he found them in. What makes it worse is that their owner gave Rosenior a new 3 year contract at Christmas - an expensive decision to end early & one I presume has been pre-empted by a bigger name showing interest in the job.
Derby might not be able to compete with some teams in this division financially but we do have the precious commodity of stability & common sense behind the scenes. Some of the decision making at clubs like Birmingham, Watford, Sunderland & now Hull smack of the incoherent kneejerk reactions so beloved of our previous owner & inevitably end in poorer results & decline.
I wish Liam well, a good coach & a good man. He needs to find a Championship gig at a club prepared to take a long term view. I suspect Hull will finish significantly below 7th next term.

Totally agree, I’ve got an Hull mate and whilst disappointed they didn’t make the play offs, he thought Rosenoir had got them playing decent football and going in the right direction.
He certainly expected him to be given a go next year. The deluded owners comment resonates as having a Birmingham city feel about it to me.

Yeah any notions of signing him were fanciful and now we have completely no chance. Palace fans even starting to appreciate him as well, chant his name whenever he gets the ball. Heard John Pienaar the political journo and Palace fan on H&J on Talksport and they were all waxing lyrical about Will. Shame he wasn’t in this form early season as he’d be a good squad option for England IMO. We don’t have many players in this country like him.

Totally deserves it, it really was wishful thinking he’d drop to the championship, as sadly for us, the way he’s playing now, he’s going to be playing premiership football for awhile.
So pleased for him though.

Probably end up there, win the L1 Championship and then get sacked for not scoring enough goals in doing so. 
He's been extremely unfortunate so far. I hope he finds the right club for him. He deserves a fair chance.

I wonder if he'd have still been sacked if they'd finished 6th+ but lost in the play-offs?

Had an excellent game for Palace today - Eze and Mateta will get the headlines but Will was everywhere, stitching their play together.

He's hit some great form under yhe new boss. Got a good midfield partnership with Wharton developing. They support and feed the creative atrackers Olise and Eze really well 

Yeah, but they don't have Birds bakery in London. No West End nightclub will bring more pleasure than two vanilla slices and an elephants foot.

The telling thing for me is when one of the current players said that apart from a one-night Christmas party, that the trip to Vegas is the first time the players have really socialised together all season because they have all been focused on getting promotion.
That certainly wasn't the case in the Keogh era, and it certainly was him at the centre of some of the in-season does, leading the singing and  sounding absolutely the worse for wear.

That's a great way to lose any compensation we'd be due, though you aren't the first poster who's proposed the club should throw money away just to "get rid" of a player they don't rate.
