Forsyth, Watson and Joswiak were all first choice last match. Morrison would have been if he had signed in time. Stretton has one 35 year old player ahead of him. Sibley and Ebosele are borderline starters or second choice and Allsop is second choice after Roos now for some reason.
The squad is paper thin - lets not pretend these players are a million miles from our starting 11. A strong breeze blowing through the training camp would injure enough players to bring most of this squad into first team action every week.

I hope he feels downright awful, and he should. Instead of trying to run a club like on football manager, he should have hired someone who knows what he is doing (i.e Victor Orta at Leeds). Mel deserves no sympathy and all the flak he receives.

This Allsop looks a decent signing as well. A proper upgrade on Marshall and definitely worth taking up 1 of the limited spots we have available.

I've often thought that in recent years. Whats the point of an academy if our best talents just get cherry picked on the cheap by the big clubs anyway.
Obviously you can't keep someone here against their will and these players we lose would probably find it hard to turn down the likes of Man City, but it does make me wonder if the academy investment will ever pay off. Maybe Brentford had the right idea after all.

We go super safe these days. Nothing interesting at all with our kits and most are incredibly boring. May as well just have a plain white shirt with a ram drawn on and be done with it.

It cant be me that looks at our kits every year and goes to sleep ? I mean they are so boring, id rather have kits that split opinion and offer something different every year than just the same sort of thing. for an example look at the 3rd kit released by Arsenal today.

As mentioned on the Huddersfield thread I missed the game down to Our son being born. I’m glad to say he’s home well and healthy! This will be his first game he will be watching along a lifetime of fun and pain that is the normal of following Derby County. 
 
Also had my Father purchase a Derby County baby grow just before my Mrs tried to slip any Villa stuff on him (The same was applied with my other lad) ?
