When Rooney keeps us up this season he will be in line for manager of the year award.

I just came back on here to say exactly that.   Comms from the club have been dire as we know.  They really owe us as fans to update on this. They must know that although we're all resigned to no signings there's always that small spark of hope something would have happened.

You're right.  He gets in some great positions, seems to effortlessly find space (aka Bielik) but at times he misses the obvious or killer pass when trying to do it on his own. Maybe he's trying to prove something? If he'd played Byrne in yesterday we may well have scored. Instead, 2 minutes later, having lost possession, Florest scored. 
That said, given game time I believe he'll be great for us.  Rooney believes in him and I have no doubt where he's made the wrong decision, Wazza will have a quiet word in his shell-like.

Agree. Had several debates on this topic over the years.  If he's found guilty then he absolutely deserves everything he gets.  But until then he'll still be assumed guilty anyway until proven otherwise just by the way it's portrayed in the press.

He’s recently been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, which makes him suffer with slurred speech and memory loss.

It's good isn't it - makes you snuggle into your armchair with a cup of tea and digestive and just smile at the TV.
