There's just this bit of me thinking "there'll be a rough patch, and how we handle that will really be the test"
But, so far, happy days.

Win a few more we can sing this to AC/DCs Whole Lotta Rosie ?
Wanna tell you story
About manager we know
When it comes to footballin'
He's in the know
He ain't exactly experienced
Ain't exactly on the ball
Played 5 won 2 drawn 2 Lost one
You could say he's not gonna fall
We've never had a manager
Never had a manager like you
Doin' all the training things
Doin' all the tactic things you do
Ain't no bad headline story
Ain't off the office phone
But you give it all you got
Weighin' in with possible decent players on loan
You're a whole lotta new manager
A whole lotta new manager
Whole lotta Rosenior
Whole lotta Rosenior
Whole lotta Rosenior

Let’s be right they complain about playing in the second round of the EFL cup with other clubs and are allowed not to then you find them in Barcelona playing a football match. It’s disgraceful but no organisation stands up against it

An excellent result.
Irrespective of our chances in this competition, winning becomes a habit, hopefully a goal and a clean sheet carries the momentum into the league.
Caught between wanting someone else at this level to boost our chances of progression, or a juicy away tie to top up the coffers.

I'm sure venture capitalists know they are taking risks with their investments, and that they're fine with that. I just think they're probably not fine with people who take the piss with their money in a very public way...

One thing I'll wager, When we play them at ours we'll beat them, We have no divine right to beat teams like Shrewsbury...look at the teams over the years who've been relegated from the Championship with teams far and away better than what we started with and most of them are still in League 1.
This is one physically hard division and we'll be playing more teams some believe we should be beating...I wish football was that simple, It'll come good..lets not rush around, LR knows what's what this will turn into a good learning curve for future games this season.

Disappointing result, and probably does point to the fact that we do need something different in the attacking third. Not a criticism of Collins, because he worked his nuts off, but how many times did he actually touch the ball? Poor penetrating passes from those behind him. We should also be taking a few more risks out wide, whether it wingers or full backs. We must have only broke through on the wings a few times, but there seemed no great desire to take a man on. Knight, given his quality, perhaps the worst culprit. He kept passing the ball backwards, rather than looking for the give and goes that Byrne was doing last season.
Anyway, can’t knock the effort, and in truth we could just as easily be on 8 or 10 points this season with a little more luck. 7 will do, but hopefully we can be more enterprising on Saturday. Up the Rams!

The last two games could have been 4-3 with better finishing. That is the biggest dip in quality because goalscorers cost money

It's hardly "edge of a cliff" stuff between championship and league 1 - yes it's a lower standard as the championship is a lower standard than the prem but it's still a professional league full of good footballers, just, not as good as the few hundred better ones in the divisions above.

After 3 games I've been pleasantly surprised by the style of play from our opponents so far. - very similar to the Championship
Decent footballing sides and not the expected sh1thousery that I'd heard about - and no constant long balls, long throws or time wasting.
However, this week we play against a Steve Cotterill side & a Scott Brown side - so my opinion may have changed by Saturday night

Stop giving opinions on the basis of having watched someone play.
Slating based on negative heresay, speculation and 'inklings' is the preferred way.

Such a good reader of the game. He doesn't always feel the need to just clear it.
Sometimes it's just right to dink it over the upright oppo, turn 180 degrees, then play it forward to a team mate... all whilst making said oppo look like a blindfolded baboon.
Pure. Class.

You say that but I run through their squad and find very few if any would make the best 18 from City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
United seem to spend a lot of money on players. They’re getting ripped off left, right and center as teams know they are desperate.
Why did they sign Sancho? He looked good in the Bundesliga but so do a lot of players. If he was Dutch, wouldn’t he just be viewed as another Depay?
Rashford is quickly turning into the next Welbeck. Ronaldo was just a commercial signing.
They signed Eriksen who plays in the same role as Fernandes. McFred aren’t good enough but they persist with them.
They appear to have amateurs with little footballing knowledge making big decisions there. Their recruitment is so bad.

It just seems like the place good players go to die. People keep listing all the signings they’ve made. Which ones have been successes and failures. And on paper, they’re mostly really good, world class, would slot into any team in the world and make them better. But as soon as they rock up at old Trafford, they are absolutely dire.
People say the glazers are doing their bit, they’ve put up the money for these world class signings, but the problems there can only be cultural, and that comes from the top. That many good players can’t just turn s*** overnight, it’s like a Bermuda Triangle of talent.

Whilst Brentford worry about 2nd season syndrome, Man U might start to worry about impostor syndrome.
It is absolutely tragic what is happening to Manure, couldn't stop laughing.

Well well well, we all assumed it'd be notts forest taking on the 11 point challenge, but it seems man u are going to give it a go as well.
I still believe in forest's ability to get 11 points this season though. You reds.
