JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta got a reaction from Rammy03 in The Championship 21/22
I am absolutely amazed that the Reading manager hasn't been sacked yet.
They are in absolute freefall.

I think we can safely say that Barnsley will be one of them, so it's two of the other four.

I estimate it to be £0 so they are technically correct.

I do understand your point and let’s say we agree to pay over millions of pounds to the owner of Middlesbrough football club for what becomes an agreement then we would expect the Middlesbrough players to put claims in against Derby county for lost promotion bonuses and expected contract increases, what would your view be? To pay them as well? - it’s never ending and has to be stopped at source which is where the EFL are failing. I want what is best for Derby county but paying anything to Middlesbrough and Wycombe on these supposed claims is a dreadful thing to do.

JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta got a reaction from Dordogne-Ram in Only one team?
I didn't really have 'a team' until I was maybe 10-11 years old. My whole family were Derby so I had an interest, but I didn't really care for anyone team over another. It changed when my parents got season tickets and I started going on a weekly basis. I caught the bug and that was it, no going back and no chance of ever supporting anyone else.
If Derby folded then my love of football folds with it. I'll watch the odd game on the telly, I'll follow England in tournaments, but my love the game will be irreparably damaged. Like a smashed mirror, you can glue it back together but it aint the same.

Sell Lawrence and we will freefall. Circa 10 games, 20,000 fan sales lost, thats 500k revenue. Probably a TV game lost, so thats another 100k. We've now early matched his wages.
Then the probability of staying up, let's say 20%, on a revenue difference between the leagues of 12 million, thats 2.4 million.
I literally cannot see any scenario where selling him helps us, and i certainly don't think keeping him is the difference between being liquidated and surviving.

Russian infantry in Stalingrad had a longer life expectancy than your average Watford manager these days.

HMRC will always accept a payment plan provided it is realistic and presented alongside a business plan which can be monitored, this I can confirm from recent experience, my offer would be 50% upfront and then the remainder at £292k per month over 48 months, no way HMRC would turn that proposal down.
That would make an offer of £28million very doable/workable and would /should satisfy the EFL, with the stadium now sorted whether by purchase or leasehold agreement, I am 100% confident that the Rams will be safe by 2/1/22,

My favourite thing about this is the Forest fans wetting the bed because we aren't accepting their pathetic bids for players.
