On to the proper games on Saturday. Poor performance but no disgrace in going out to a prem team and not playing your best. Let's not dig out players or managers for this one game.

Exactly. Warranted criticism is fine and expected. Some won't be so balanced with their analysis.

Of course most of them aren’t. We started with 3 of our defenders having a combined age of 81, and the fourth being second choice to an attacking midfielder who’s currently injured.
Of our starting 11 today, there’s only 3 or 4 who haven’t already hit the peaks of their careers and are on their way down.
But that’s OK, because we still have a very good side for the league and the situation we find ourselves in. With a manager who I have every confidence in getting the most out of those players for the last third of the season.

Was saying this the other day. Knights work rate, tenacity, never give up attitude, selfless team play and unbelievable fitness levels allow our other midfielders to be more attacking and risk taking.
Hourihane in particular has looked so much more confident in arriving late into the box, taking risks and scoring goals since knight is there.
Players can push on, safe in the knowledge that if the move breaks down knight will be there sprinting back into shape helping cover runners and counter attacks.
Hourihane and bird are technically gifted players but with limited pace. They would love to be in there knowing knight can cover for them.
Real good balance to the midfield.

We won away after several limp draws this season.
We can from behind, which we didn't manage for about 2years.
    I'd say that's alright.
Although we didn't knock in 4
    So boooo.....warne out ?

It does look a bit "wrong" if we exit admin and then start chucking money around. There will be people and businesses who potentially could have lost everything due to losing out on money owed by the club.
For me, it wouldn't sit right for us to have debts reduced and removed by the amin process and the "so many pence in the pound" exit procedure, only to then "find" money for transfer fees.
There has to be a balance in the process, which we see with the wages we can offer to attract players like NML, Didzy, Collins, Barks, Smith and others who would be good signings for teams in the league above.
We knew it would be a long, often hard, process to rebuild the club, over a course of years not months.
Bizarrely I quite like the fact we cant pay excess wages and transfer fees, as let's be honest it's what got us in the problem in the first place.
    Up the free transfer Army.

Most of those articles are researched on twitter. If I put on twitter that derby are poised to sign Benik Afobe, I've got a mate at the club who had told me, gonna be announced in 2 days, a "journalist" with an "article" to write on Derby will simply just search our # and write it as if they have a serious source.

It's amazing how well a GK can play when they are asked to keep the ball out of the net and not be a deep lying european playmaker starting passing moves from half way in their own half.
Keep it simple. Do your job.

Don’t think it was Wildsmith who was the issue. It was playing out from the back with a set of defenders completely incapable - the likes of Davies, Forsyth etc shouldn’t be asked to play short constantly. When afforded acres, of course, but never under any kind of press. It’s asking for disaster.
