Our main danger sits with our injuries accompanied by our inability to score goals ( actually that’s sums up the whole season)

Wednesday making scoring look incredibly easy tonight. How do we make it look so difficult

This is why there hasn’t been a takeover as yet. All hinges on the outcome of this.

I posted news about Mel and BZI a couple of weeks before his interview. My comment was deleted by the admin but true. This is also true.

Not happening until fans back in the stadium is confirmed and we know for sure what league we will be in. ITK. These are however currently Mel’s preferred bidders.

I think that Alonso is a broker. He sorts out deals for clubs, on behalf of wealthy clients.
In the case of Sheffield Wednesday, an indonesian consortium was seeking to buy the club.

Well it looks like Alonso has been in talks with us since Jan so alot of the deal will have been discussed by now. With the Sheikhs deal having been agreed everyone will have had a decent starting point to work around
I would imagine his EFL approval will be looked into soon too

My hunch is this one might actually happen and fairly quickly (well, compared to ol shakey) - a lot of the details worked out for the previous deal could be a basis to negotiate with and also, probably Mel is in a weaker position and will accept a rum deal (for him) to cut his losses and focus on his health and the rest of his empire.
Will that be good news for DCFC, I'm skeptical, but we don't actually know.

Can anyone confirm why Alonso is being written off as a conman? He didnt have anything to do with position Sheff weds are in, that happened long before he joined them and from what I can see he left because he wanted a british managet and Chansiri wanted a foreign manager, which is ironic given he ended up bringing in Darren Moore

I feel a bit sorry for Louie, he gets 10 minutes(if he's lucky)towards the end of a game which we're usually chasing, usually out of position and he gets criticised by Rooney, saying 'he needs to do more'.  Well personally, I would aim any criticism at Waghorn and Joswiak, they certainly 'need to do more'!

Alonso is just the front man for an Indonesian syndicate.
Those two Indonesian guys - Budi and Michael Hartono are worth about $13 billion. Could it be them? Or just some guys who work on the beach in Bali renting out sunbeds?

Why all the bad comments about Alonso , just because he was part of sheff wed and tried to take them over on the cheap but got knocked back by chansri doesnt mean anything . Is there more to it than this or something else other than that as for me I welcome it at the moment . The arabs had failed twice before and I can see a reason for not wanting them but Alonso why the hate plz ????

Good news on sports scene saying they have other potential buyers, I’m hoping this week Derby do finally pull out of this BZI deal because they aren’t coming up with the money now all of a sudden

Hmm, very interesting... good news that we’re working on an alternative takeover, it’s been clear for months that BZI don’t have a penny to their name. Good to see there’s a few interested parties as well, hopefully one of them will save us and secure the clubs future. Sounds like he, or his backers at least, actually do have the cash to buy a football club and aren’t just a bunch of chancers, so feeling more hopeful about this one.
Next week seems to finally be the deadline for the Sheikh. Should hopefully see some progress on a takeover soon then, and not before time, the club needs to move on to working with some legitimate buyers.

Rooney is taking a holistic approach to his job, however. It can be revealed he called a meeting for all Derby’s under-23s and under-18s a fortnight ago to reiterate his demands after he became concerned over an easing of standards.
In strong terms, he told the young players they had much to do before believing they had “made it”. A source said: “He is genuinely interested in the whole club in way that’s not been seen for a long time in a manager.”

That's a great sign - A guy who has broken through from the youth setup at his hometown club (at a young age) but showed how important hard work was his entire career - They have to listen to that and great that he's getting so involved in the younger players development

His return as the saviour was eagerly anticipated along with waghorn earlier this season.....remember having to play games with a front 3 of Rooney joswiak and one of holmes/knight/whoever on the other wing?
No upturn ensued and I see no reason why any is more likely this time.
Sorry, but this is nonsense. Of course he didn’t "try" to put us at the bottom of the table. He had rubbish luck with injuries/unavailability and it's fair to criticise his style and methods as being unsuitable and unsuccessful. But no need for wild unfounded accusations.
Remind me how the post Cocu games before Bielik was up to fitness went, and how the one game since his latest injury? Think he was vital for Wayne's system. Now we have to adapt the system slightly-which might mean more games slip away and results worsen. Perhaps Wayne is also trying to take us down?

I like the look of this.
Tomori was only 20 I’m sure when he came to Derby and this lad is nearly 19, so hardly that much of a difference between the two.
De Ligt was starting for Ajax at 17 in the Champions League.
If you’re good enough you’re old enough.
