TBF the poo he's had from a so called Derby fan in the past,it's quite reasonable that he gave the fans some stick

So out of interest, common man who doesn't pay taxes ends up eventually with convictions and potential jail time. As the owner of a business that has racked up 26 million in unpaid tax over numerous years, may this be what he's facing and why he's dumped the club into admin? Just a thought..

That's the irony of his situation; the thing that is arguably his biggest achievement, the thing he said he wanted to build around and the thing he always points to as a positive ...will be the first thing to go on the scrap heap when the adminstrators get their teeth in.

The Common Man, If he's self employed and has not paid his PAYE this is not a criminal case, It's a Civil case, If he's failed to fill in self assesment forms then HMRC will send self assesment forms telling him that these must be filled in NOW or else, If he has failed to fill them in...then a fine is on it's way £1,200, If this is not paid then HMRC can if they choose send a CCJ, If found in HMRCs favour, 3 things can happen, 1-he can enter into a payment plan of what he can afford over a certain amount of time, 2-send the Bailifs in and take goods to the value of, 3-right oustanding amounts off as he has NO assets.

The business owner will be a Director of a Ltd company or had better be, The owner is not liable for business debts, Tho if the business owner had sold his business to a 3rd party and failed to tell HMRC this and kept said PAYE payments then that is Fraud and COULD end up in prison, But it would often come down to be able to pay back tax...and the Judge.
    Hope this all makes sense.

bimmerman reacted to Steve Bloomer's Washing in NEW PODCAST: 'Administration'
Hey all. We recorded an emergency podcast in the wake of Friday's news, and it's out now:

In a podcast we never thought we'd do, Chris, Richard and Tom react to the devastating news that Derby County are entering administration and will plummet to the bottom of the Championship following a 12 point deduction. How terminal will the situation become for our proud club, an institution of English football, and where do we go from here?
THE STATEMENT: Our emotions from Friday night, and how close we believe Derby currently are to liquidation. MEL MORRIS: How did a self-proclaimed 'lifelong fan' allow this to happen? We assess how a local businessman worth hundreds of millions took Derby County to the brink. STOKE: We won a game...! Amidst the chaos, Derby actually earned a rare three points. How has our relationship with the club and matchday changed now that results are basically irrelevant this season? To summarise one of our closing lines from this episode:

As long as there's a Derby County to talk about, we'll talk about it. Whether it's League One, League Two, or a pheonix club at the bottom of the pyramid. We're Derby now, and we always will be.

Don't let B4 hear you say that,it will mean we have to play in the pink strip so the players can see each other a little clearer.

Sad to say your are correct. Having been a season ticket holder for many years, I would certainly go - but for Covid. My preconditions mean I could be extinguished before DCFC were I to catch Covid at Pride Park.
Perhaps I am not alone in staying at home for this reason.

Received this email from the club an hour after it went into administration.
TBH I don't think I'm that likely to recommend Derby County to my family and friends at present, as they don't have several 10s of £M to burn through.
There doesn't seem to be a -12 option on the scale they offer.

He won't remember FFP and administration, he will remember all the things you mentioned in your first paragraph. The atmosphere at the Stoke game was very positive and will be v Reading and Swansea.

We have another point deduction incoming. If we go on the basis of -21 or depending if we can't pay wages -24 then we would be closer to the true figure.
I wish Mel Morris nothing but absolute misery until the end of his days. I hope he stubs his toe every step he takes and every wasp that descends on our shores stings his baw bag.
