Thats a wookie not a rookie. Though Chewbacca and Rooney  probably communicate equally as well to football players it appears.

Not sure what's funny here? If you think the striker with less goals than our striker is worth 9 points difference and there is nothing at all down to the management then you're deeply delusional. 

For balance you could've acknowledged that that happens both ways.

With him and Gordon I just have an overriding sense of “duck ‘em”. 
And if he scores 20 for another Championship side? I’m a petty enough man to cut my nose off to spite my face.

The issue I have with Sibley is that, from what I’ve seen (I have watched most of the U23 games for the past couple of seasons and pretty much all of the first team games) he has a terrible first touch. 
For all of his dribbling ability, the first touch when the ball comes to him very often bounces off him and he has to make a dangerous lunge to try and win it back.
Without analysing videos of all his fouls, I’ll wager a fair few come from this moment where he’s desperate (probably frustrated) to win the ball back.
It’s ridiculous for me to say it, cos he’s light years ahead of me as a player, but anyone with a keen eye can see that, unless he can learn to cushion a ball in the frenetic pace of the Championship, he’s going to struggle to get to the next level.

Not sure it is morally questionable,why should Derby pay him £25k a week for 10 months after being injured in this way? 

trouble is that he is not competent to do the job he is paid for and he was contributory to the reasons why
