For me, Forsyth, Davies, Stearman, Collins, Smith, Hourihane, Chester, Barkhuizen and all the loanees can go. If we can sign Roberts on a perm, I'd take him but otherwise, based on actual performances rather than reputation, I'd let the others go.
Barks, Collins, Smith and Hourihane have all been disappointing based on their pedigree. For a club in our position, we need either promising youngsters or rock solid elder pros. Hourihane and Smith might just be worth re-signing as they're not terrible but the others really haven't done it for me.
I'd keep NML - patchy but still a threat now and then.

Same. If he’s pragmatic though, he’d want a move to a championship team, that on paper might challenge for promotion, purely for his own career prospects. Nobody should be begrudge him that, up to us to get the maximum fee we can!
Warne has said before, he won’t keep unhappy players, if you were Knight and interest appears, you would want to play higher; which given his full international career, he’s likely to attract attention.
Happy to be wrong but like Bielik, I think both will be off the books before the start of the season.

I think PW is exactly the right man for us at the moment. With a very limited budget, under-performing players and players that aren't 'his' I think he did pretty well.
If we can have a proper run at next season I feel we could really have a chance of automatics if we can keep hold of Bird, Knight, etc.

I dunno - I saw it the same as Jram in that it looked a bit more than that. It had a look of 'au revoir' about it for me.
Unless he goes for £3m (which transforms our summer signings (but is unlikely)) I sincerely hope we keep him. Proper grafter.

I would rather not watch Livermore or Tom Carroll ever again if that’s ok with everyone else.

All of these have been mentioned but:
Eranio a big one for me, at the centre of the wonderful Derby team of the late 90s and I reckon almost universally liked to this day.
May not have come if we had have gone down in 96-97, hats off to McGrath another free.
Honorable mention to Seth-lad part 2 purely as we had sold him to Leeds for a profit, he came back on a free and put his body on the line and beyond for one last shot at glory, helping to drag us to the premier. Perhaps not the most analytical choice, but pulls on my heartstrings a bit.

Let's be realistic, most of the people on that list are not joining Derby County on a business plan in League One.

We're a million miles away from these decisions in reality. Rosenior, to me, seemed very serious, very tactical, very logical. Not very warm. But a decent man. PW comes across as very honest, aware of his limitations and if I was DC, I'd warm to him. And that's prob what happened. When you're the man putting your money in, you go with your gut and from the limited bit I see of PW, I get it. PW is more proven, more established as a manager and I totally understand why DC went with him.
Let's be honest, with PW, you get what you see. The daft hat, the honest silliness - he's a properly decent bloke. I'd hire him, as a football manager, in a heart beat. I wouldn't hire him as a tactical genius, a glory signing nor a fan appeaser but as a manager for a club like ours, in the sh*t like us, he'd be my choice. If it doesn't work, it's only bad luck and time that worked against him. I think DC will give him years. And rightly so.
Our Nigel was 100% Derby. And I love that. Call him all ya want but that man wanted nothing but the best for us. I hope PW gets the chance to become that. He wants that - you can see it in every interview - he knows he could become a hero for us. He wants to create a legacy. For me, that counts.

I don't think 'pull' exists other than $$$$. History shows us that Tomori, Mount, etc cost absolute fortunes to get in so I really don't think there is such a thing as 'pull' per se. I think that in a scenario where a player choses club X or club Y the style of play, manager personality, club size, etc all comes into play so when we hear Mount saying that Frank was the reason, etc then yeah - that reason + £2m loan fee or whatever it was!
PW is clearly a players-manager whereas some managers (E.G. Rafa) are very much about systems, etc so will clearly attract certain types of players. I'd argue the types (honest, hard working) of players that PW would attract are the types that we need for the next few seasons - i.e. I'd rather we didn't sign trouble-makers/those that only sign for the money, etc for the long term benefit of the club.
Personally I think we're in good hands and what we're seeing now is the financial restrictions really biting. However, I will caveat that with the fact that there are players in the squad with some pedigree who don't appear to be playing to their previous levels (Collins, Hourihane, etc) but again, perhaps there's a reason why they're here in L1 on relatively low wages...
