Sad loss. I think he’s an unsung hero at Derby.
RIP Mr McEwan.

Sad to hear of Billy Mc passing. Part of a brilliant coaching staff here, managed York City (local to me for a time) too

Derby’s amortisation policy was disclosed in 2017 in the notes and Efl were aware of how it worked. Maguire further drew their attention to it in 2018.

Adam Murray??
Great debut vs West Ham. Looked very promising and then obviously had his personal issues.

They probably won’t talk to me. The last time I was on the radio (via Zoom) with Rick Parry the producer said he would only come on the show if I didn’t ask any questions and my microphone was switched off when he was being interviewed.

Still would not buy anything in the concourse.
If Boro fans think Derby fans will forgive Gibson they are deluded.

whiteroseram reacted to Sparkle in The Administration Thread
Is it just me that Gibson making the move may have been promoted by the EFL, premiership and the FA because MPs going on nationwide TV yesterday and saying if anything happens to Derby County and creditors don’t get their portion of money because of the preferred football creditor rule stopping a takeover happening will prompt the MPs to support the HMRC in stopping the preferential football creditor rule. I tend to believe that’s the straw that forced the issue. Anyone agree?

Excellent but still take your own Werthers tomorrow.
Don’t give them a penny.

Occurs to me that the use of the word "accord" is interesting - I'm pretty sure that translates as "it's not resolved but we've agreed on how we're going to fight it out"
However it does diffuse tensions ahead of tomorrow which I think we can all be thankful for.
My speculation is if Gibson can feel he bested Morris he'll leave DCFC alone.

whiteroseram reacted to Mckram in Fozzy Testimonial
Always been a fan of his, just can’t understand some of his passing choices!
Glad we’ve started to utilise his heading ability from goal kicks though…I remember a few years ago (possibly under Steve McLaren?) when every goal kick was to Fozzy to flick on. Then when we changed managers it just seemed to never be used again.
Let’s also not forget he’s had more new knees than Trigger has had new broom heads and he’s still kept himself at Championship level!

Made a few mistakes tonight but the fans never made it known.

Rush was appointed as the president and chief executive of Derby County in September 2012. In November 2014 he was named FC Business Championship chief executive of the year. All going pretty well during his time at the club under the ownership of GSE. In October 2015, Rush signed a new five-year contract at Derby with Morris stating: “Rush is a big reason for the turnaround in the football club and a main for reason for me having joined the club”. A couple of years later Rush is accused by Morris of <cough> “gross misconduct and breach of fiduciary duty"<cough> although the matter never made Court, despite Morris “relishing the opportunity”.

The EFL are deliberately trying to liquidate Derby County.

whiteroseram reacted to Animal is a Ram in Simon Jordan v Wayne Rooney
You only have to look at his employer.
Talksport is, in the main, a windup vehicle. Come in with silly takes, designed to rile up fans of that particular club, who then feel compelled to spend their money phoning in to defend their team, or have opposition fans agree with it.
There are some notable exceptions, but look at Jordan, Durham, Brazil... all the same.
