He is interested, just after driving the price down as low as possible and  without paying a single penny more than he needs to.

I doubt it's below him to use the threat of pulling out of the deal as a bargaining chip

It wouldn't be below him, there simply isn't much left to purchase.

Great idea for potential purchasers too.

Send someone a low-ball offer they can't possibly accept. Leave the bid in for a while, send a few emails chasing it up but make no intimation that you're willing to up the offer.

Buddy up with the press to release information saying you've not been spoken to for 2 months (knowing full well that the fanbase are getting twitchy) to put pressure on the administrators to re-assess your bid, and hey presto - you're the good guy.

Two months without contact, he isn't interested anymore imo.

Fwiw, I think this is where we are now at. Q have been trying, a lot harder than many think on here, to maximise the return for Creditors, and for the benefit of the Club, to get a deal that sees us start next season on a level playing field. If now it seems most likely that we are going to be in L1, I suspect the deal figure is now much nearer £35m than £50m which is what they were hoping for. No one is going to pay much more than that for L1 income stream. Whether we start on -15 points now depends on whether Morris decides he will take a very modest settlement from this, and see’s off MSD himself. We are into a game of high stakes poker.

It's time for Mel to blink first imo.

  4. Guehi is a youth world cup winner, currently playing well for Palace, he deserves a chance. Maguire over tomori lol, remember when Southgate dropped TAA, he said it was because of bad form.

Don`t have to be a Derby fan to care about the clubs plight.

Apologies if my post come over in ways that make anyone feel uncomfortable. I am just trying to give a balanced opinion based upon whatever evidence I can divulge.

I have already apologised if I have repeated or raised subjects that have already been discussed, but I will readily admit to not having read over 1000 pages of posts. I can assure you I only have good intentions.

My Aunt used to push wounded soldiers in wheelchairs from the DRI to the Baseball Ground after the War and I can only image how she would be feeling if she was here today. She took me to my first game at the Baseball Ground on Boxing Day 1974 V Birmingham City. The first of many! I was there on the day that Franny Lee and Norman Hunter had their famous scrap, stood on a Pop Crate at the front of the Ossie End. I remember my Dad shoving me under a Police Horse to keep me clear of the fighting, with all the Leeds Fans dressed in White Boiler Suits and Lab Coats. Plus numerous League and Cup games over the years, including the dark times of Div 3 and many Testamonial Games.

I may be new here, and that is because as time has moved on, I have become more concerned and dug around for more information. Part of that digging around led me here.

Again, apologies if I have offended or upset anyone, it really is not my intention.

I`m not a die hard Derby Fan like 99% on here. But I care.

Fair play mate, no issues with your posts, but any chance we could get a positive one ?
