I know Tommo has his limitations, but his willingness to be there when a pass needs to be made is top class. Always, always shows for the ball. Never goes missing. Absolute polar opposite to Hourihane in that respect.

IMHO more managers should use it, especially in an opponent's half - about 4 out of 5 throw-ins go back to the thrower-in to hoof clear, having a man on them stops that and piles on the pressure.

Gayle, arrowed, is to the right of Bradley who is almost certainly offside, though never becomes active in the move. It's possible that Bradley's position fools the lino into believing that Gayle is probably onside, though it's more likely he can see part of the torsos of either or both of the Reading defenders arrowed at the end of the line who could just be playing Gayle onside. Whatever a VAR-style line would show from a side-on view, this is in no-way a "clear and obvious mistake" by the officials for which they deserve criticism. It's not even clear that is is a mistake at all.

Ah, what a splendid affair it was. If ever Pimms were to host a League 1 day, it would assuredly resemble the festivities witnessed amidst the resplendent performance of the Rams. Oh, the gallant display put forth by the chaps, supported by a throng of bouncing enthusiasts whose fervour knew no bounds!
Picture it, if you will: The Wardrobe, that bastion of attacking fortitude, held steadfastly in its flat-packed splendour, masterfully overseen by the indomitable trio of Cashin, Nelson, and the towering arm waving Sonny Bradley.
And oh, the ecstasy that swept through the air as Gayle, Barkhuizen, and Waghorn graced the pitch with their sublime prowess, each goal a symphony of skill and finesse.
Yet, one cannot help but chuckle at the missed opportunity of young Waghorn, whose errant shot surely would have found the net had it been left to my Charleston partner, deftly balancing a cocktail in her hand.
Ah, but such is the whimsy of fate! Nevertheless, the Rams ascend once more to the lofty heights of second place, a sight to behold indeed! Derby fans on Saturday when vale score 

I get that some aren’t enjoying the football.  I can honestly say I’ve not enjoyed every game and we’ve not played consistently well for 90mins in any game this season.  It’s been good it patches.  But I find it bizarre that poor football is a reason to sack the manager when we sit 2nd with about 1/4 of the season to go.  It’s the very reason Mad Mel sacked Clement.  He said something like it’s not all about promotion it’s about how you do it and coined the infamous phrase “the Derby way”.  And yet a lot are advocating the very same action is taken now.
And easy on the eye football doesn’t guarantee anything.  Mac 1 was some of the best football at PP, yet we lost a Play-off final and went from 1st to 8th in the last 1/4 of the season.  I get we lost Martin but Warne has lost Collins.  Mac 1 had Bent, Warne has Gayle.  It seems like they’re very similar scenarios.
And no, I’m not a Warne defender, pro-Warne, Warne supporter or whatever badge some want to put on me.  I’m accepting our situation, position in the league stage of the season, etc.  The time to review is in May, and see how we’ve done.

So many get fixated by individual match results but really the only thing that matters in the promotion challenge is to maintain a rolling 10points return across the last five games. It doesn’t matter where the points come from - they all count the same value. If we keep that rolling two pints per game average we’ll be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.
And even after today’s game, we are still at 10 points from the last five games. 

Tonight, the Warne haters are like a teenage boy who has just found a jazz mag in a bush 😂
