Rampage reacted to Mucker1884 in Colin Kazim-Richards Fan Club
With handsomeness beyond compare
His tight-knit locks of sable hair
With tattooed skin and eyes with joyous sheen
His smile is like a breath of spring
His whoop does screech like stormy rain
And we cannot compete with him
Colin.
He scores against you in his sleep
And there's nothing we can do to keep
From smilin' when Wayne calls his name
Colin
And we can easily understand
How you could easily take our man
But you don't know what he means to us
Colin
Colin, Colin, Colin, Coleeeee-in
I'm begging of you please don't take our man
Colin, Colin, Colin, Coleeeee-in
Please don't take him just because you can
... Whoop!

Athletic reckon Kazim has had talks with Wayne about coaching. Too good to let go. Absolutely.

Rampage reacted to Ghost of Clough in Louie Sibley
A much more rounded performance from Sibley.
He was willing to put the defensive work in: blocked one near the goal line; tracked back to provide Buchanan more protection than he received all game; but also didn't dive in to give away any fouls.
Still comfortable trying to progress up the field with the ball at his feet, but willing to pass (to King Kazim) rather than shooting.
Competed for the ball in the air a few times, including one he flicked on leading to our goal.
However, he still needs to get involved in general play a bit more. Most wingers struggle to get on the ball but it's more extreme with Sibley. The likes of Lawrence will be on the ball 40 times or so during the full 90. Whereas Sibley would only be at the 20 mark. There's a naivety at the moment where every time he gets the ball, he feels it's his just to dribble the ball forward. He needs to learn to use his teammates, which would create more space for him up the field.
Did enough to earn a start vs Cardiff.

Possibly. Maybe we use the money to pick up some kids from a Cat 2 academy just down the road for instance?

Absolute shoe-in for the POTY award. There can’t be anyone remotely close to winning, can there?
I don’t think I’ve ever quite seen such an impact from a signing who was wrote off by many before the ink was even dry on his contract.
Delighted he’ll be sticking around for another year. The reception he’ll receive from the Pride Park faithful on the first game back will be something to behold.
Need to get a decent chant sorted for him beforehand!
All hail King Col. ?

The sort of player I wish we'd had during all those seasons we seemed to hit a mental block.

Just 4 more goals to equal his best scoring season and he's got 14 games to do it in.

No with Derby mate
When roony agreed to be a Derby manager he knew what he was walking into.

That’s all well and good mate but will he be given the funds to attract what or rather who he thinks we may need and where will those funds be coming from ?
I hope he doesn’t tire of false promises and uncertainty and we are in a position provide him with stability to carry out his vision for us because right now, I think we’ve got a gem of a manager and it will be downhill managerial-wise if he moved on, I rate him so highly.

I noticed that a few months ago when he first started games. I assumed it's from when he was playing abroad and didn't have a handle on the lingo so just shrieked instead??

Rampage reacted to DCFC1388 in Louie Sibley
Ive said it before but I dont think Rooney trusts Sibley at the minute. One of Rooneys recent criticisms of the team is needless freekicks being given away and whether he starts or comes off the bench Sibley does this a lot.
Rooney mentioned Sheff W away and Rotherham at home for needless freekicks. Well away at Sheff W i thought Sibley was poor considering how good he was the game before vs Birmingham. But to compound that he gave the needless freekick away which they scored from in a game we were comfortable in and never really looked under much threat.
So, he gets dropped for the next game, Rotherham at home, which a lot of fans werent happy with but I was and knew why. Again, 0-0 Sibley comes on as a late sub and ends up cushioning a back post header back into the 6yard box for them to score and win. No surprise to me we havent seen him since.
So does Rooney start him ahead of Jozwiak/Waghorn/Roberts? I dont think so as I think he can trust their defence game more. Plus when Lawrence is back he will be ahead of Sibley as despite his criticism he puts a shift in defensively.
Does Rooney bring him off the bench? I can only see that happening if we have a 2 goal lead. If we are 1 up or drawing I dont think he would bring him on as points are too important for us at the minute.
The u23s games are where he needs to earn the trust of Rooney again, Rooney will know exactly how good Sibley is ability wise but its the defensive & temperament side of the game he needs to improve.

There's plenty actually. I'm no sycophant. Just like how he's critical even when we have a decent win. We are getting results but that's been down the how impressive Marshall has been along with the defence. For 15+ games they've been playing like an automatic promotion side. We need to improve significantly in other areas of the pitch and when we do, we'll be a team capable of play offs every season. I still think we'll end up 3 wins off 6th spot this season.
Make no mistake, this is some of the worst football I've seen Derby play in a very long time. I thought Cocu ball was bad. I'm very keen to see our approach to matches once we are out of a relegation battle. Which, truth be told, could be up until the final 3 games at this rate. Very tight right now. A team can lose 3 on the trot and then be in a relegation battle.

It’s not often a player comes as a bit part player and becomes first name on the team sheet.
We could have spent £3 million and got worse value!
