This saga now just comes across as a vindictive face-saving exercise by the EFL and payback for all Mel's sniping at them over the years. We've made it easy for them by streching and bending the rules - giving them a convenient stick to beat us with.
You're not telling me that we accidentally used an accounting practice that no other club uses and then failed to highlight it properly in our submitted paperwork.
Mel & everyone else at DCFC thought they were cleverer than the EFL, which probably is the case but if you continually tread on the beast's tail, you're gonna get bitten at some point.

Noticed some people having a go .
We are Derby fans and we should stick together and back the Club
Its easy to be derogatory about the owners in this situation but the real enemy is the EFL
They are an absolute joke of an institution and don’t get me started on Steve Gibson and Wycombe Wanderers

So we don't even have to submit the accounts until 11 days after the season has started, so why the EFL even bothered to put two fixture lists out is beyond me.
    The EFL are completely mental.

    Still don’t get how:
    - EFL rules don’t state the method of amortisation to be used
    - we submit accounts using a legitimate accounting method which the EFL accept
    - we submit 2 more years accounts using the same method which the EFL accept
    - Keiran ‘finance expert in his own head’ Maguire tells the EFL that we’re doing something different to all the other teams
-EFL charge us over multiple issues and lose
    - EFL appeal a small part of the charges and win but now threaten to relegate us if they decide to appeal again.
Surely their appeal was only against the fact that we’d not been clear enough in telling the EFL accountants that we’d used a different accounting technique. The fact that the latest appeal has decided we should have been fined for the issue rather than given a good telling off doesn’t legitimately leave scope for a points deduction for last season - so relegation shouldn’t even be a consideration at this stage.
This is a vindictive statement meant to cause as much trouble as possible - at a time when all clubs are in dire straits due to COVID. Appeals from either side simply drag out this farcical process and cause more damage - the EFL need to remember they have a duty to protect all clubs and not continue to attack us just because their chief exec is best mates with a nasty little man in a Middlesbrough - particularly when they have history of letting clubs with far larger FFP breaches off the hook……

    Q. How many women having an early menopause, does it take to stir up a news story?
    A. 4000. OK. You got a problem with that? You men have ducking no idea what a curse the menopause is, and don't get me started on the pain of child birth. No you can't hug me you bar steward. Can't you see I am sweating.

Completely understand the frustration with the EFL price increase, but you can't compare RamsTV to the likes of Sky, BT and so on. These are billionaire satellite TV companies, whereas RamsTV is a small independent online streaming service. Compare it to the likes of clubs that use Ifollow and then see.

In California in 78 On the set of a cheap action movie called Love And The Midnight Auto Supply, a film so bad that it didn't even make it to video.  My stepfather was the director of the emergency services in the county and was there to ensure proper safety measures were in place, because of some explosions written into the script and i was there to keep him company.  The climactic scene at the end of the film was being prepared, a large barn full of all kinds of auto parts was to be slightly blown up, the hero and the girl he saved come rushing out to run clear and then the barn explodes.  Stepfather had introduced me to the special effects/ dynamite guy, an honest to goodness hippy and from the look and sound of him appeared to have permanently fried brains, but he assured stepfather that blowing things up was a tricky business to which he was well suited and experienced in.
When things calmed down, it was concluded that the crazy fella had indeed used all the explosives meant for other scenes.
Such a mighty explosion i have never heard, the blessed barn disintegrated in a white flash, debris flying all about, a Cadillac hubcap came close to beheading the assistant director, everything and everyone in pandemonium.  What fun for a 17 year old, but my head buzzed for a while.

The missus once banged the car door very hard whilst in a strop.
It was the second loudest thing I heard that day.
    Can't remember the first tbh.
It'll probably come to me though.

I've seen them twice in '84 and '09. Both were outside venues so not as loud as indoor although sound was excellent. Loudest indoor was Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath) and answers o/p question.

I am an international footballer. What should I do if I come into close contact with someone who has COVID?
Public Heath England: You should self isolate for a minimum of 10 working days. Take lateral tests every third day to check you do not have the virus. If you do have the virus, and your symptoms get worse get advice from NHS 111 or your GP. Do not go to a hospital without prior approval for attendance.
Public Health Scotland. If you have just drawn against the auld enemy have a good team hug in the changing rooms, and enjoy a few wee swigs from the Team’s whisky bottle. Eat heroin laced Mars bars, deep fried ideally. Have a good dance with some mates, but avoid putting swords on the ground, and don’t wear skirts. Tell all your playing colleagues that they must not admit to have ever having been within 2 yards of you in your lifetime.
