They had better play bloody well, and win. £30 for a ticket. Last game I went to was 5 shillings and tuppence - except of course all those Wembley games I go to when I am more than happy to pay a premium.  COYR!

I couldn’t get a bloody ticket for the 1903 final. Loads of bloody half fans turning up cos the sun was shining. Listened to the first 20 minutes on the wireless, but could tell early doors it was no day to be a Ram. My arm was aching too turning that bloody handle on wireless. Went to Ale House to raise my spirits and caught Diptheria. Kids today have no understanding of what respiratory illnesses we had to put up with in those days.

After a fantastic performance against the 2nd best team in the league, can we play without fear again and replicate the win in the big smoke against Fulham?
Pray for no daft goal kicks and Mitrovic leaving his boots at home.

My favourite tactic is winning a free kick or throw-in well up the park and then going backwards. Baldock worked hard to earn us a throw-in yesterday, about level with their penalty box. I said to my dog that Roos will touch this before anyone in our forward line-up and 7 passes later Roos was booting it over the top of Buchanan’s head. The dog and I tutted simultaneously. Lovely moment.

I asked the Mrs for a definition of attack. She knows bloody everything, and I can confirm it is either a) a small, sharp broad-headed nail, or b) a long stitch used to fasten fabrics together temporarily, prior to permanent sewing.

We will all get it eventually, so I guess it's just a statement of fact.
Bayern Munich had 5 unvaccinated players miss their game at the weekend, after close contact with a club official who had the virus.
All 5 are to have their wages docked for the 10 day isolation period, as German law allows.
Meanwhile, Werder Bremen have sacked their manager and assistant, after they produced a forged vaccination document that allegedly showed them being jabbed in Germany while abroad on a training camp!
    Schoolboy error.

He may of course have been correctly advised by his legal counsel, but decided to give it a go nonetheless. I still can’t see this going anywhere because in the most unlikely event he wins it opens a huge can of worms for the football sector. The EFL must want this closed down.

I'm no dog lover, (nor dog-hater, I might add) but that brought a tear to my eye.  It sounds beautiful.
I'm picturing something muscly.  Proud chest.  A fine jawline, stately gait, and an overall very well groomed appearance.

Mel needs to do the right thing, and make sure all of the small local businesses he shafted are repaid. He remains an extremely wealthy man. He should ensure no one’s livelihood is impacted by his folly.

If all that is true, you’d expect his anger to have subsided significantly over the years having actually seen Waghorn play.

i-Ram reacted to Lander in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
I heard a slight ‘ITK’ story over the weekend about why Steve Gibson has such a vendetta against Mel Morris and Derby. Apparently it is indeed to do with the Martin Waghorn purchase, where Mel Morris allegedly agreed with Gibson that they’d both settle on a specific wage and transfer fee, then let Waghorn choose whether he went to Boro or Derby to save them both money instead of bidding each other up.
After reaching an agreement with Gibson, Mel allegedly offered Waghorn and Ipswich considerably more a few days later and Waghorn subsequently chose us.
I fully understand Gibson’s hate for us, if this is true and I have no reason to disbelieve the source given his links in football.

    Exactly.
Where are the four equivalent threads examining why Jason Knight failed to shoot first time when he had a great chance laid on a plate for him? Oh, but he played well the rest of the game and scored a goal too. (So did Kelle Roos and he made other decent stops.)
It really bugs me, this micro-analysis of every aspect of Roos' game. Allsop was getting it after only three games too.
    Obsession isn't healthy.

I agree.  The idea isn't a stupid one as the OP suggests - a stupid idea would be one undertaken without a reason and our manager has explained, again, why he wants the players to do it.
It doesn't work when they make a mistake in the execution of the plan and, as players of second division quality, they are more likely to make a mistake periodically than, say, international players. At least it's exciting.
Having said that, as Bobby Davison outlined on Radio Derby, there are other ways of achieving the same thing - essentially by kicking it over the back four, making them turn, go backwards and creating space between them and their midfield.  I thought I saw Roos do that yesterday too, and in other matches, as well as ping it out to Ebosele and Buchanan.
Sometimes what Kelle does works just fine; sometimes it doesn't. But he's a human being playing for a mid table second division team.  He'll make mistakes. And he'll make good saves too.
