Thanks everybody. So it looks like in the photos we have.
    GK - Roos
DR - Byrne, McDonald, Ebosele, Bardell
DC - Davies (free agent), Solomon, Brown, Cashin
    DL - Buchanan, Forsyth, Williams
MC - Shinnie, Sibley, Bird, Watson, Dixon
    W - Wilson
SC - Kazim-Richards, Stretton, Duncan, Plange.
Anybody spotted any players I’ve missed?

Also confirmed that Marshall, Knight, Jozwiak and Lawrence have been granted extra time off due to international duty and Bielik remains injured.
That appears to be our starting point on Day 1 of pre-season training.

It shows the complete mess that English football has got itself in regarding player wages when a limit of £11,500 per week for an average Championship player is considered a restriction/punishment.
    Madness.

And of course it's not really straight pass/fail, it's how much you fail by. Given the stadium sale, it's unlikely we're failing by untold millions of overspending, so any points deductions that might arise *should* be relatively minor.

It allowed us to spend more, but didn't originally factor in a stadium sale. The profit from that should mean we sneak inside the limits

So on top of my 11 year old daughter being sent home to isolate for 10 days, for the second time, my 8 year old lad has now had football cancelled for at least the next 2 weeks.
Rceeived an e-mail saying that due to the huge rise in Covid cases the club were implementing a 2 week circuit breaker (yes they actually used this term).
On the back of this I thought I would take a look at the situation in our area of Littleover and Heatheron. Turns out there have been 25 positive cases in the last 7 days...huge!
Spreading the net a bit further, Derby has had 442 positive cases in the last 7 days, with 0 hospitalizations and 0 deaths.
Im hoping this isnt a sign if things to come that has empowered people to make completely illogical decisions with absolutely no basis.

Football is a Saturday afternoon with your brother or mates.
Football is about arguing about the team, the tactics, the players, the manager and the oppostion.
Football is the banter, the sounds, the smells(!!), the andrenaline of walking to the ground - it's an emotion of highs and lows within just 90 minutes, and the next week, whatever the previous result may be, you go again.
Once you have committed to a club, it's yours for life, whatever division the team plays in.
I'm 69 years of age, and next Easter Monday 2022, will be the 60th anniversary of the first time I watched Derby County, when my dear father and uncle took me and my brother to the Baseball Ground.
I've stood on terraces, in all weathers, sat on hard seats, been treated to the hospitality suite, and even played on Pride Park in a charity game and football have given me despair at time, but also much enjoyment over the years.
I even bought a season ticket when I was working overseas and only saw 4 home games a season for 3 years, but I still supported Derby County from afar.
Whatever division The Rams find themselves in next season, I will shout at them, criticise them, moan until I'm blue in the face, but I'll support them because they are my club from my home town.

    I've started so I'll finish... ?
The EFL probably (I say this with no evidence at all so it's just conjecture) wanted to avoid rule writing as far as possible, that's for sure.
However, they appear to have done no real analysis to see whether a straight adoption of existing frameworks will give them what they now claim they want in terms of outcomes (everyone using the same approach to the detailed topic of amortising player contract values).
Accounting standards by definition are really NOT industry specific. They are now based unequivocally on the principle of "economic substance over form" to reinforce this point.
I think as far as "indicative market values" go then you would be looking for broadly comparable transactions. That's basically how property valuation is carried out. But it is a negotiable point and as it is indeed industry specific should be within the EFL purview.
To be sure, if you held aggressive valuations in your accounts on the basis that you would be actively trading out these player assets, but you then didn't and they went for 0, then you would expect the following...
    - large final year write downs
    - an increasing auditor challenge to the directors as to why they felt the approach met the overall principles of true and fair, plus the accounting concept of prudence.
    - ultimately an insistence on a revision to the approach in order for the auditors to continue to sign off.
My overall issue with the EFL is that they appear to have "short circuited" these stages altogether and are now writing rules retrospectively at the same time as sanctioning a member for not complying with a non-existent rule.
From a regulatory lens that is appalling behavior.

Yes exactly and this is so ridiculous. So someone is saying the whole audit team threw all their professional standards and training out of the window also and the partner signing off high profile accounts did the same as well as reputation because they were a Derby fan. Now if they had said  being auditors they just did the same as last year that I would get
