Thanks, fingers crossed but more in hope than expectation 🤔

Please feel free to shout down to me if there's any spaces up in the gods😂

Last year some fans chose to stand down at the front in front of the seats and they never got moved, their appointed seats must have been empty somewhere!

How has the grass got in such poor nick if the ball isn't ever touching it....🤔

It was noticeably very bad in the Northeast corner where the kids take penalties at half time. Three clear tracks where they do their little run ups.

Touchlines are rough, a combination of linespeople and throw ins.

Just because the ball's in the air doesn't mean footballers aren't running around on the grass chasing it!

    I agree, you'd think they'd learn from previous problems/mistakes.

When the ticket office rang me yesterday they said that these tickets had been returned so I'm assuming that rows A and B had already been sold and not held back, I don't know if that's true or not though.

As for sitting, I'd rather sit than stand but if those in front stand up you have little option but to do the same unless you want to risk getting into an argument.

My reason for wanting to be further back has nothing to do with the standing or sitting debate though, I just prefer to be higher up in the stand so I have a better view of the game than that provided from the rows near the front. I know others prefer the opposite so I'm hoping that someone might want to swap, if not, then hopefully everyone on the first few rows will behave and be considerate to those behind them who can't stand throughout a game.

Good luck with people being reasonable! 😂

I hope you get your swap. We go higher for the same reason, even though we know we'll have to stand.

I got 3 today from being on the waiting list so I'm happy about that after laptop blips in Monday - unfortunately they're on row B as I prefer to be higher up, nearer the back so if anyone has 3 further back tickets and wants to be at the front, please let me know and I happily swap - they're in block N5 if anyone is interested 🤞

That's exactly what caused all the trouble at Lincoln last season. The Club not selling the front two rows until all other tickets sold out. Then sold them to people who then stood in front of the older fans who'd deliberately selected "front row" seats as they need to sit at games.

You would think the ticket office/Lincoln would have learned from that experience but no, they just repeat the folly. It makes me really angry.

  5. Vickers  6 - a good save but his distribution was poor, unlike at Fleetwood

    Nelson 6

Wilson 6 - thought he did okay. I'd have took Ward off instead of him.

John-Jules 5 not quite working for him yet

Bradley 6 - didn't do much wrong but he does look hesitant when the ball is coming towards him.

Barkhuizen 5.5 played better second half at wingback than he did as a forward. Interesting as he is on record as saying he doesn't like the position.

Collins 5 - was getting mugged by the defenders trying to challenge for all those high balls and resorted to dark arts, which didn't work either

Thompson 5 - not sure of logic in changing all of midfield as they hadn'tplayed together and it showed, none performed well but isn't necessarily a reflection of how they're going to play if selected individually

Mendez-Laing 7 power and pace but not very productive

Sibley 5 one good cross, otherwise see Tommo.

Bird 🦅 6.5 tried to make things happen, was closed down quickly

Elder 5 struggled after his recent good performances. Should have done better with their goal

    Cashin 6.5

Fornah 5 one bit of magic, otherwise see Tommo and Sibley

    Hourihane 6

Ward 4 poor game and was amazed he was kept on the pitch. Where is the player we saw at the start of the season? Did he help or hinder Elder for their goal? Not sure but they failed between them.

ATG - cold, flat atmosphere, terrible pitch. I didn't perform well as a spectator,  so have some sympathies with the team in that respect!

I've never been to Bradford, so I'll assume that it's like Leeds but with fewer redeeming features.

Shipley is great, real industrial heritage. Bradford, like many northern industrial cities, is a mixed bag, some regeneration, lots of run-down areas, very multicultural and some extreme poverty. Great people though, in my experience.

Let's face it, the football fans are a loyal lot if you look at the attendances they get on a regular basis.

You might struggle to get that going amongst the other 12 of you dotted around Wembley.

That's the bloody annoying thing about Wembley.

You spend all season forming close bonds on the road with your band of brothers and sisters and then don't spot any of them amongst the picnic parties at the final.

  8. 31Vickers 6.5 I liked his quicker distribution on occasions, otherwise on a par with Wildsmith

35Nelson 6 seemed to suffer most from the change to a back three

5Bradley 6.5 decent but not fully match aware yet. Will it come?

6Cashin 8 imperious, Sky TV loved him!

2Wilson 8 such an exciting player that I don't even mind when it doesn't quite work out cos I know he's going to try again next time he gets the ball. Did some useful defending too.

8Bird 8.5 statistically his best game this season and a joy to watch

4Hourihane 6  occasionally creative, tires too quickly and our manager needs to recognise that.

    22Fornah 6 a great 3.5 minute cameo 😉

3Forsyth 5.5 struggled a bit to stop their attacking flow, right decision to substitute whether injured or not

20Elder 6.5 better, but again not yet match fit. Shows promise.

19John-Jules 6 a bit disappointed with his contribution, needs to be a bit more mobile, again building fitness. Has a lovely first touch so I'd like to see him use it to turn away from defenders rather than in to them.

7Barkhuizen 7 contributed little then is in exactly the right place to score the winning goal. Proved me wrong!

11Méndez-Laing 8.5 a powerhouse who is loving his football now. Is this his most consistent run at any club?

9Collins 8 "looks good looks fine" and proving all the doubters wrong week in week out.

16Thompson 7 showed industry and persistence just at the time we needed it. If we'd introduced him a bit earlier it might have been a more comfortable second half.

Warne - a good opportunity to try his three at the back and it worked out in the end. Jury is still out on its long term potential.

On a plus point, that attacking lineup is seriously threatening though. If you're keeping one of the creative players quiet it frees up another one.

So, would like to see us try it again before we completely ditch it.

Was in the seats yesterday. Have to say what excellent prices all the products were. Hot Dog £3.50, bottles of beer £2.50, pie of the day (chicken balti) £2.50, standard pies £4, and other stuff available . Well done Fleetwood for not fleecing supporters.

Yes, and a humble cup of tea just £1.50. Was £3 at both Wigan and Oxford.

Got our Reading tickets.  We’re in the corner, in block GU1.  Haven’t been before so hope it’s a decent view.

Bit like Pride Park, really, in that there's a good view from every part of the ground (providing you're not a foot shorter than the people in front of you, which seems to happen to me at most away games!)

  11. Just got back from Fleetwood (we took our time, walked into town for some fish and chips and a chat with numerous Derby fans before setting off.) I am a bit surprised at some of the faint praise from people on here for a good away win and the avoidance of a slip up against an energetic team fighting for a new manager.

I seem to remember we "battered" the Cod Army 0-0 here last season, playing expansive but ultimately unproductive football.

I much prefer us playing like we did today and bringing home three points.
