Not a McCartney song, but Here Comes the Sun seems appropriate for the occasion.

What about "Yesterday" or for Quantuma "Band on the run" and for all Derby Fans "Maybe I'm amazed" For our Academy "Junior's farm". For this season "With a little luck" and for David Clowes "Listen to what the man said".

Sorry but I'm a big Paul Mccartney fan

Hope I get to meet Mr Ploppy Pants in person one day... If he comes across IRL like he does online I'll happily deck the Bamford!

He's got some hate towards the Rams and wants us to be still punished by the EFL. His team Bristol are treading on dangerous ground with their finances, hope he he likes it if they get points deductions etc

  3. Someone on the Bristol City Forum is not really happy, here is post from a few minutes ago,

Well I didn't think they would go bankrupt though I am glad they have suffered.

I was pondering the other day whether it would change their fans much but I doubt it- in certain aspects ie EFL regs and so forth, the most arrogant, know-nothing fanbase I have seen at this level- I am not including those who are largely PL just down for a while but consistently Championship based clubs. Clowes seems decent from early bits and what I've read- they don't deserve him I expect a sizeable minority of their entitled fans. Wish I'd gone to Pride Park in April but there's still time.

Sharpen that pencil Mr. Couhig unless the claim has already been settled. Key q too is what % to HMRC...are they FOIable.

  4. I can't get my head around it, Clowes have put money in to pay the June wages and run the club for the start of the season. Why can't the EFL (who are now in the loop on whats going on) state ok, start selling season tickets and we will also lift the transfer embargo. With this intent, the fans would commit to buying tickets, players would sign on, new players would come in. Even if we sold around 15000 season tickets, thats over £5m into the club funds COME ON EFL SHOW YOUR BACKING OF HELPING DERBY

Don’t think these admin have every understood the practice of under promise over deliver.

In my business I always give my client a date that gives me breathing space for example if I’m told it will be done in 5 days, I tell my clients 10.

    Do you work for Quantuma

What rule is said to have been broken?

Some technical one I guess, as on the face of it borrowing money from Stretford to pay wages does not sound much different to borrowing it from Dell for same purpose  ?‍♂️

But a conflict of interest is the statement. Personally I think its the media creating a storm to sell scandalous news. EFL or The FA would get slaughtered by MP's and the media if there was punishment for the club. They've put more than enough barriers in front of the club, any more would be seen by most as a vendetta against the club.

According to the Daily Fail it is both. As for who leaked it well the first story went to Percy.. who gets most of the EFL's propaganda, then Matt Hughes another mouthpiece for EFL. Nixon out of the loop for obvious reasons.

Matt Hughes is a Derby County hater who does nothing but slag us off and gets his information wrong by guessing based on his opinion.

  8. Just been looking at Ipswich Town's season ticket sales. So far they have sold over 15,000 tickets at an average price of £334.50, thats over £5m in their bank. If we get selling soon at the similar prices, even if we only sell around 12,000 thats over £4m in the clubs funds.

Critical time now before Monday when pre-season training starts, if that begins with 5 to 7 players then Rooney will surely go followed by Rosenoir. Expect the club to announce trials for players on the Racecourse for next Tuesday night.

Can you find out the time, I might dig out my old boots

  10. Mike Ashley wants Derby for peanuts and is hoping Andy Appleby's group will fail.  The EFL and Q are now under pressure to get a deal done and thats to save face from previous balls up by both parties. I feel Andy Appleby will get the club and it will happen very quick. Bargain hunter Mike Ashley will turn his attention to Sheffield Utd which is closer to Shirebrook (Sports Direct HQ) than Derby.

The fixtures are released on Thursday and I feel there could be a big announcement on the Friday.

Not that good Roy, I've £400 waiting for a season ticket, If still in admin when the season kicks off...it may just stay in the bank, And I wont be the only one☹️

If we are still in Administration by the next couple of weeks, Q would have to have proof of funding the club for the season. Also the EFL would have to remove the transfer embargo, let us sign on players and sell season tickets. These obstacles would hold up the club in any form of progress if the EFL kepted on. This would also stop prospective buyers making any moves in taking on the club.

The big picture is, Mel put us in this s***. EFL, Steve Gibson and the Gobby Yank at Wycombe put the spanners in the works. Quantuma (picked by Mel) have been very slow in addressing the obstacles. If it was'nt for the fans making protests and contacting local MP's, I'm sure the EFL and Q would be still dragging their feet.

I think @G STAR RAM and @alram should find a pub car park conveniently near to both parties and sell tickets for a straightener which would be infinitely more interesting then the dour, pedantic tit for tat argument they're currently embroiled in.

Think the likelihood of this happening is about zero as they probably wouldn't even be able to agree to the location of the tear up.

    #timetoletitgo

Would you turn up to be the Referee and could they use a Pub that sells Real ale. Please find out the date & time, pub venue and please make it a weekend so I can watch.     P.S. I'm willing to pay, after all the Ref needs funding

I think that’s the one thing we still have going for us, so I’d be gutted if we did that.

Also in terms of P&S rules I’m sure the academy doesn’t count towards it, so if we got say Mike Ashley as owner and he was happy to fund the academy then I hope he does. Only got to look at the players who have come through in the last few years and the transfer fees we should have had from them.

Credit for our Academy goes down to Darren Wassall and in the 13 years he's produced a lot of talent through that academy.  It's got to be the best outside the premiership.

We've as empty a squad as it's ever likely to be bar a couple of players. Do you reckon 'a careful and steady rebuild' would suit Rooney? I reckon if he wants to stay he wouldn't settle for a slow rebuild. He wants 40 players in. So if he gets them it's got to be with the aim of promotion.

I think requiring 40 players is about right. this would include current players to sign new contracts and also bringing in youth to top up the U23's and U18's. A lot of these could be free agents. It's not going to be expensive to top up the youth and senior squads with the right deals.
