Absolutely devastated by this. He’s galvanised the club in torrid times and I’ve never felt closer to the club than I am now. 
That’s all down to Wayne. He’s been a revelation. He deserves success going forward and I’m sure he’ll do well. I do think it’s linked with the Kirchner deal falling through.
The last time I felt this way about a manager leaving was when Nigel Clough was sacked.  I was gutted, we then appointed Steve McC, Simmo and Eric Steele and look what happened there. It’s an opportunity but we’ve got to get it right.
 

Honestly, this is no great surprise and could work out best for all parties in the end. How many managers go out on top? 5% if that, most experience good days, but ultimately you’re only a month or so of bad games from the sack and abuse by fans. 
This ends Rooney’s story with Derby perfectly. He was a rookie manager, who galvanised a squad and a club at the worst point in its history. He will always be appreciated with fans and now he’s got to go and prove himself at a club with expectations now. He’s still got it all to prove that he’s a good manager, despite the job he did here. This was a very unique challenge and one that very few managers will ever go through.

Been listening to Radio Derby and all the chat from Ed Dawes and fans ringing about clear the decks, experienced manager etc etc - NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! If we want to end up like Forest were, like Sunderland like Ipswich stranded down here for years then taking this approach will lead directly to that. You would be bringing in a manager, with an ego with a set way of doing things, will sign experienced names who all don’t get the club!! 
Look at the clubs promoted this season or competing. Leam Richardson at Wigan, Liam Manning at MK Dons, the impact Kieran McKenna has had at Ipswich going in after the Paul Cook clusterfuck! Darren Moore, Ryan Lowe previously at Plymouth, Ian Evatt was inexperienced doing a great job at Bolton. We need someone dynamic who gets the club and can inspire the players and build on the feel good factor of last season.
Step forward Liam Rosenior. He’s the only man for the job IMO.

Knowing our luck the EFL probably have some clause where all gypsy curses must carry onto the successor club in the case of liquidation. 

Is it a curse or just the fact that we’ve had a lot of d******** running the club over the years? 

If we go under and come back as Derby City FC, Up The Sheep, does the gypsy curse die with the Rams and we might get some luck going forward?

I got stung by a few Ponzi's early on, I  started off investing in node projects which are built on ponzinomics.
If you look properly into the tech and the use case of both Blockchain and NFT's, also the companies that are already highly invested in them, it's only a matter of time before every big institution switches. I agree alot of crypto are Ponzi's you have to do proper research before investing which I didn't at the beginning.

Heard through a chance convo the other week redrow and a local business man were the ones buying the ground so makes sense he'd be in for the whole lot if Kirchner is out.

I'd be surprised if it dips under the 20k mark. Remember we got relegated by a points deduction, not because the team was crap. We actually played some pretty decent stuff at Pride Park this season. There isn't the doom and gloom around the club you'd expect with a relegation in normal circumstances. I think this will be a factor. Get the takeover over the line and bring some players in we are going into the new season with a lot of positivity especially after everything that has happened. It's a fresh start. Derby is a very well supported club and this shouldn't change no matter what division we are in.
