I think it's all what could've beens with alot of the academy if Mel didn't self destruct. The likes of Liverpool, palace etc aren't going to be interested if they're not good players. Had they been given a chance to develop further here they might've had more first team football. I think agents have alot to answer for with them pushing players into clubs too soon just for a quick wage rise and a fee for them.

I’m still in favour of the Brentford b team model I think it’s more about scrapping it and therefore no longer needed. With a B team you buy players likely to make the progress both teams learn the same approach tactics and formation then easier transition 

Credit where it's due but it makes you feel sick thinking of what could've been. The teams we had, the chances we had to go up, then the likes of the dogs, Fulham, Brentford, Brighton etc etc have got themselves up and stayed there. We will be back though!

Did many come up in the South during the seat swap stage last season? What's the best way to go would you purchase in the north in a similar price bracket or go for the next best area for if you can't swap?

I would think that the best thing to do, is to wait until 1st July and see what becomes available, it'll be easier and quicker to pick up a newly available season ticket through a straight forward purchase rather than faffing about trying to swap seats. 
If nothing becomes available, there will be plenty of options in the north stand right up to when the season ticket sales finish.

on reflection,i think not making the play offs has done us a favour.if we had gone up to the championship a bigger rebuild would have been needed,and i am absolutely convinced the efl would not of lifted the embargo and let us be competitive, as it is another season in league 1 is obviously seen as fitting punishment and we are now able to build for the future

From my own point of view, he got Rotherham fc, promoted on several occasions and on a very low budget.
Our owner spent a lot on buying the club out of a potential bankruptcy. 
Then he brought in a league one promotion specialist, gave him a 4 year contract worth several million. The owner trust Warne. 
Warne inherited a team thar weren't his choice, littles changed since thar time. He's been constricted by not having a transfer budget. 
In the summer we almost didn't meet the league requirements to for a team, we had to bring in a lot of players as free agents, just to survive.
We are rebuilding, as the old saying goes, Rome wasn't built in a day.
Our squad requires an overhaul and its difficult to do on just free agents.
Warne wants to bring in better players than we have now, but he's not allowed to spend money doing that.
Doesn't matter that when I watched games in the 1970s, 80s etc we faced different struggles. We are where we are.
Doesn't matter that we are punished by the efl, that it might appear unjust.
What matters is that there's a job to be done in rebuilding the team. There's a job to be done in rebuilding the club's reputation.
I've previously listed free agents that are available and might play for us at this level, the general response seemed to be 1% are players we might want to sign. A very narrow field, good job we have a new head of recruitment to help with the rebuild.

Getting in good areas just not enough quality Infront of goal, hopefully they're saving them all for the playoffs 🙏

I love Curtis I hope he manages us one day, but he really does look like he's running in treacle now, against a better opposition I hope it doesn't catch us out playing 3 at the back with him there we were lucky at one point today.
