Given all the readjustments in the last 24/48 hours it was an outstanding three points, and full marks to Wayne and the coaching team for switching the formation and getting everyone ready.  A real victory for hard work and commitment.
Pretty boring game til we scored, then we looked decent. Never looked like conceding. Blackpool were pretty poor, but shout out to their supporters who travelled in numbers and know what we're going through.
Like the look of Plange, very good movement.

Couldnt stand the bloke in a Derby shirt, everything he has done since that night at Joiners has made me dislike him even more.
Compare him to a real leader like Curtis Davies, they're not even in the same league.
Hope he gets as much abuse as possible tomorrow.

We remember how your fans supported us through our darkest hours.
We now have our club back and we are on our way back, but your fans were brilliant at Bloomfield Road singing all the Oyston out songs with us. We had a mini riot during that game, a night match and later that season, we started boycotting games home and away.
Word is, our fans are 100% behind you during this hopefully short term blip in your great clubs situation.
    Good luck from the Seasiders!

It's very obvious isn't it? Keogh sued our already financially troubled club for a large amount of money. Why on earth would any Derby fan not boo him for that?

    Indeed.
The death of Lawrence's mum was a key factor in the habits he developed and the actions he took. He accepted his punishment as did Bennett (although I don't really have any time for that scrote). It was a valid reason why sacking him may have been unjust.
I suppose the people who would have happily seen them all sacked (3 senior players plus two youth players)  because it was 'even punishment for all' would also have happily sacked Jake Livermore for developing a drug problem following the death of his young daughter.
In Keogh's sob story it just felt like he'd seen this and been told to mention his grandma passing away in order to gain some sympathy. Maybe that's just me being cynical, but that's how it felt when combined with his absolute lack of contrition.

May have had some more sympathy for his position until his fabricated woe is me story came out the week 20 people lost their jobs at the football club, no doubt in part because he was insistent on getting his cash that he obviously so badly needed.
Ideal situation would be half an hour of booing before he plants one into his own net, before an hour of singing his name.

    I disagree.
He's been well advised to make as much out of the situation as possible. Nobody really cares about his own moral obligation, it's a win-win for him.

£55m sale price would require HMRC to accept c.£20m (2/3rds of what they're owed).
    MSD £20m + £1.5m (additional funding)
    Admin fees £3m
    Football creditors £9m
    Unsecured creditors £1.5m (25%)

Lawrence works his socks off. The intensity is there. He's also in the form of his life right now, at Derby at least.
We ae not better off without him in any way, shape or form. He is top in both the goals scored and assists made charts, with double the output of the next best.
We do not have 'plenty of players who will score goals to secure wins'. Indeed, without Lawrence, we present almost zero goal threat, save for via corners and set pieces. Save for Festy, Lawrence is also the only player we have with pace enough to get beyond oppo defences.
The only part of your post that makes any sense (just my opinion), is that Curtis should indeed be captain and he and Jags make a strong unit.

If Rooney expects to be manager still next season he neess to get a style of play that can get us promotrd because the current way would not get us up.
After Jan we will have more of an idea of the players who are likely to be here next year & that is when he needs to bring in any youngsters that we feel could make the step up

He’s a very good shot stopper, but his positional sense, catching and commanding of his box is poor and always has been. No matter the goalkeeping coach, he doesn’t appear able to have the inherent flaws coached out of him.
as a no 2 / 3 he’d be fine at any club in the league and at the price he could leave us for it makes sense

3 holding mids in the middle, a RB at RW, a CM at LW & an attacking mid upfront - little wonder we create next to nothing

This has often been touted by Nixon as a £50m deal inc £20m for the stadium (which pays off MSD).
Paying £1.5m (25%) to unsecured creditors and taking on £9m of football liabilities leaves approx £19.5m.
Knock off the admin costs at £3m and £1.5m of additional MSD funding leaves approx £15m as a balance that can be offered to HMRC (50% of what they're owed).
I think this is close to where it will probably end up.
New owner gets a clean club with an "£80m valued" stadium for £50m.
    MSD gets paid in full.
HMRC gets 50% for their new preferential status.
    Unsecureds get 25%.
MM flushes £200m down the tube.

I wonder if a Daily Mail journalist or The Athletic or even someone local may want to ask Middlesborough why they feel they are owed £45 Million and how is that broken down. They dont seem to mind analysing our finances in detail.
